R33Matt - I have done exactly that with my BOV, and i do get turbo flutter however it isnt that loud or the same as the "dose" noise.... I have a pod filter, FMIC, stock BOV....

I've got the stock BOV on my car, and i have replaced the standard gasket with a "solid" tin gasket so when the BOV goes off it cant vent to intake, therfore forcing the air back thru the turbo. But how do i get it real loud like that r32 last night?

Hey guys, last night on the cruise a black r32 was next to me and kept 'dosing' his turbo, making the tu tu tu noise. It sounds like turbo flutter but the sound is much much louder and slower sounding. I read somewhere on the net that to get this noise u need to have a straight pipe coming off the front of the turbo and either block off your BOV or completely remove it. Does anyone know how to achieve this sound from your turbo? I am aware that some people think or bad for the turbo etc, but i am not worrying about that at the moment. If anyone could advise me how this sound is achieved it would be awsome

whilst on the subjuect of wastegates, how difficult is it to remove the wastegate actuator spring from a stock s2 r33 turbo?
