  3. Hi guys, i'm just curious what is the best oil to use in my RB25. It currently has 126,000 KM's. I changed the oil around 2,000KM's ago and used a Nulon 15w-50. What do you guys use? I mean, thicker, thinner, etc? Cheers!
  4. From memory that is the veilside r32 gtr? I saw it for sale at fabcar a while ago for around $60,000 it is currently registered in perth if i am correct
  5. i swear to god i see this r33 on the way to work almost every morning, at the intersection of camboon road and morley drive? I drive the white r33 with white 18' starcorps
  6. I work in with licensing services for DPI so i know all this. Transfer papers DO NOT need to be filled in. When you pruchase the car, all you need is a receipt of payment made for the car showing that you are the new owner. Once the vehicle gets into WA you need a tempory movement permit to take it to the pits, have the inspection done and pay for WA rego and plates. The fees involved are as follows: Temporary Movement Permit - $13.85 (pay over phone by credit card or go to Licensing Centre. Same for all transactions) Inspection @ Pits - $83.30 for first inspection, $58.10 if you need to go back. Rego on an R33 - between $240-$260 for 6months, $420-$440 for 12months. Can't give you an exact fee on that one but the fee wont change by much. WA State Plates - $13.00 What to take with you to the pits: The vehicle (obviously), your id (WA Driver's Licence card) and a eftpos or credit card or something, receipt of purchase for the vehicle, and yourself Also make sure the vehicle has an immobiliser as this is law in WA. I can't really help with regards to having it pass the pits and mods etc, sorry. There's the full process Just PM me if you need anything more. Cheers, Jason.
  7. Hey guys, First of all, please move the post to the correct area if it is not already in the correct area! Ok, i'm chasing down either 1 or 2 tickets to Armin Van Buuren at Metro City, Perth, 5th June 2009. They have already sold out to my knowledge and i have to see him! If anyone has either 1 or 2 tickets they don't want, sell them to me! Cheers, Jason

  9. Just a quick question as it is kinda relevant, is it possible to do the projector headlights to the series 2 r33 gts-t? I know i could always get a set of the series 3 headlights (but that's friking expensive). Is there any other way it can be done?
  10. Just take the movies off of the SD card and use VLC Media Player to play/watch them. Best media player out that is

    Hoon

If they do this to your car, you can take them to court for discriminating against you. Why don't rapists have "rapist" tattooed on their head? So why should we have "HOON" on our car if we are caught doing something under the hoon laws whether it is a burnout or just something smaller?
  12. Ok, roughly how many people going for this cruise? And the meet spot is south street carpark near murdoch uni right? Cheers

    Hoon

retards, absolute morons. The police are just trying to make the most of the media frenzy when it comes to hoons

  15. My playlist at the moment: some customer on the phone ranting and raving that they havn't received their registration renewal form for their vehicle (i work at DPI Licensing)....microphone on mute
  16. Oh well, sucks for me that i've just spent a shitload on platinum plugs *cry* Lol i'll go buy some copper plugs. Cheers
  17. OK no worries i'll try that either tonight or tomorrow night and let you guys know if the problem is solved or not! I'm feeling more confident now that it's the incorrect plug gap
  18. We put in the solid BoV gasket the day before i changed the plugs and it was running absolutely normal, just gave the turbo flutter sound....no boost-cuts then....
  19. Yeah i know..... So if that's the case, then does that mean it's the plugs that need to be re-gapped?
  20. My boost gauge is my boost controller It goes to 0.7 bar on Hi setting, 0.5 bar on Lo setting. So thats 9.8psi on Hi and 7psi on Lo. Boost-cuts on both settings
  21. Ok i'll give the first option a try and if it becomes too difficult i'll go buy some copper plugs already gapped at 0.8mm. One other thing, won't the platinum plugs foul quite easily once you start turning the boost up/etc?
  22. It's fine man, i relaise you're not doing that. It was just that he told me to get the boost controller tuned for a Lo and Hi setting....
  23. sigh The new plugs are the NGK (i think) replacement plugs called platinum laser, and they are gapped at 1.1mm. To change the gap from 1.1mm to 0.8mm can i simply remove the plugs re-gap them and put them back in? Or do i have the buy new plugs?
  24. He owned a 450hp R33 gts-t, but I'm not going to argue or say anything more.... Anyway, the SAFC2 can't have anything to do with this as after i removed it the car was still running perfectly fine....
  25. My brother recommended to take it out to improve fuel economy as modifications to the vehicle are currently limited to an FMIC, air pod and turbo-back exh. After i took out the SAFC2 the car was running perfectly normal, no boost cuts, smooth as silk; it was only once i had changed the plugs that i got the boost-cuts.....
