    Ive got a Blitz SBC iD II and it's great, it has a nice graph to show you the boost in each gear and you can see if its holding boost propery. Nice and easy to setup too, none of that duty cycle crap you have to do with avcr's ect.

    Ive seen a dark purple colour R33 GTR getting around near maccas on Anzac highway, i see it on the way to work in the morning. It looks purdy.

    I fitted my hybrid to my r32 last weekend the only things i needed to modify were: 1. The fanblades and shroud need to be trimmed for the top pipe to fit. 2. Both top pipe and the cooler bottom brackets were way off so i had to make my own. 3.Had to give my gtr front bar a haircut for that to fit properly too. Other than that it was all good. Took about 8 hours and 10 beers It was the first one i'd done.

    In reality if you want to get into the I.T. industry you need experience these days. You can have as many bits of paper with your name on it as you want but they don't mean squat. Its who you know not what you know in the I.T industry these days. Thats how i got my first job, through a person i know. My employer didnt even look at mt my resume. Just went on the word of my friend.

    I thought about being a mechanic too a long time ago, i did work experience aswell and realised the same thing thing you did..it sux. Apprenticeship is a joke, i made more money working at foodland. I work in I.T. now and make $40 an hour, infact i'm getting paid to read SAU right now

    I'm looking at getting my gtr front bar and maybe my bonnet resprayed, also my spoiler taken off and boot sprayed. Anyone have any reccomendations for the best place to go in adelaide. I'm not looking for anything fancy just sprayed the same colour. Cheers RoNiN

    If your using a bleed valve you will have to turn it down because the standard cooler drops a few psi where as the hybrid wont (i assume) So if you are running 14psi you turbo is proberby pushing 16/17psi just to make 14psi at the engine. If you have a controller you wont nedd to worry about it.

    If your going to up the boost, get your chip re-mapped and get your a/f ratios checked.

    I have the Blitz sbc id and it works great. It has 4 channels, you can set boost by gear or rpm and it looks fancy . I think its easier to setup than the avcr.

    Sounds like someone sold you a dud turbo, i'd be taking it off if its making bad noises.

    Someone at Famous must have been having a bad day, i'm 27 never had insurance in my name before and i got quoted $1700 for full comp with agreed value of $16500 for my modded 32gtst. Excess was about the same.

    Sounds like its running rich, have you checked the a/f ratios? The fuel pump could be the problem, especially if its backfiring.

    I goy my 93 gtst for 16.500 with turbo back hks zorst/dump pipe hks turbo timer Apexi pod Remapped chip Sparco rims catch can cd player 166rwkw ect i think 19k is way to rich for a dead stocker. even if it is immaculate
