Yours is stock, his is reasonably modified. Your better off starting with a better engine and going from there. No replacement for displacement! That saying alone shows why an RB25 is better then the RB20

This is compared to an R33 GTS. Most cars are better then that! I'd take a Skyline over a Commonwhore any day. A Commonwhore engine though...

I've driven my mum's car (1.6L Protege) at over 40km/h over the limit without even noticing. Then I'll drive my car (2.5L Non-turbo R33) at just over the limit, but I've driven a few turbo cars, and I keep it at the limit. Not sure how it works, but the more powerful the car, the slower you drive. If that makes sense?

2L, 4 cylinder engines don't sound to powerful. Was the Commodore a V8? Cos no matter how powerful a car is, you can do something stupid and kill yourself with it. Even a Charade...

The general idea with Illawarra and Alexander Drive is to avoid all together! Works for me. I just go around the long way, follow it to the end and get back onto Alexander Drive. Screw waiting at the lights, its a bit like going on a mini cruise by yourself

Yeh, twin turbo 5.7L V8... 440hp with a stock engine, who can argue with that? And oil changes are easy as well. The engine will empty it all out for you! But other then that...

Marko, you told me yourself that you wanted to keep the airbox so that rocks cant flick up and and damage the filter. Up to you though. Personally I'd say get rid of the air box and just the keep the under cover.

Dont gut the cat, cos you want a completely legal car. And you had a good reason for the air box, its a country car.
