  3. Yeah, sounds about right - i have a similar style box enclosing my pod (r32 gtst not engineered) but havent had any trouble, as it is very subtle like the one on ebay. Very small chance of getting defected for it if you are pulled over. I've been pulled over for an RBT, had the car looked at by HWP and it has never been defected. An engineer ive spoken to has basically said to me the ADRs involving air filter enclosures are bs, and he'll pass anything as long as it looks fully enclosed.
  4. stock turbo, stock position, works sweet. that is all.

  11. Hey guys, I'm looking for a cheap plumback BOV solution for my r32 GTS-T. Currently have an atmo BOV, but sick of the sound, and don't want to get defected for it. I'm currently running 13psi daily, and I've heard the stock r32 BOV's shit themselves abit under this, so I've ruled that out. I can source a cheap R34 GT-T BOV; Is it easy to throw one on the r32? Obviously i'd need an adapter, does anyone know where I could snag one from? Thanks for the help Cal
  12. Yeah i know Most of the exhaust was fine - 120mm clearance, but where it dipped under the rear axle, it dropped a few cms, and whoever had fitted the exhaust didnt do such a great job (was how I bought the car) It's all sweet now, have a custom 3" on it now, tucked right up and painted so shouldn't be drawing any attention anymore
  13. Oh, and I didnt have an eng. certificate.
  14. I was defected at 8am on a sunday morning (30/12/07) driving to work- got signalled into an rbt station with 2 officers, female officer rbt'd me and i blew 0.0. I was about to drive away when the male officer came over and tapped my boot, telling me to open the bonnet (OH SHIT METHINKS) He then spent 5 minutes looking thru my engine bay for stuff to defect (didnt really look like he knew much about engines) After closing the bonnet and him finding nothing, he started to walk back toward his patrol car, and said something about me having a 'bit of a cannon exhaust'. He got down under my car and measured the ride height from my 3.5" exhaust to the ground. He measured it to be 80mm from the ground, with the legal requirement being 100mm, and defected me for it (no fine). He then tried to give me 48 hours to get it cleared, and I pointed out that it was the middle of the holiday period, and gettin anything fixed would be near impossible. Ended up giving me 14 days to clear it.
