  1. I see, thanks for the information
  2. Hey man yep ive got the H3c bulbs in them
  3. Hey everyone one of my friend's are doing a group by for some HID's and i was thinking maybe of buying a kit as my headlights aren’t very bright. I have projector style headlights and before any one says go buy some better headlights bulbs, I’m at the moment using Philips crystal visions. I’ve searched through the forums and on the net and most people say that if you have projectors it’s alright but if you have reflector style then its illegal as the light gets scattered all over the place, but then ive also read that HID’s are illegal regardless of the style if the car itself was never designed for HID’s The Hid kit if i was going to buy was going to have a temp colour of 6000k. so what i wanted to know was is this illegal in r32’s that use projectors and secondly how many people with r32's use HID's and how did you rate them. Thanks guys, ni
  4. hey man yep the rb25 has two knock sensors. They are beside clyinder 2 and clyinder 5 on the block, if you look with a light you should be able to see the one closer to the front of the car, the other one however is a bit harder to see but shouldnt be to hard to find just feel around. Also they are on the side of the plenum and alternator goodluck
  5. hey man yer i had the some thought of mine, but at the end ithought might as well use the splitfires as i will need them sooner or later anyway. maybe before you buy some try some one else's coilpacks just to make sure that the coil packs are the issue good luck man
  6. hey everyone, I checked and changed the plugs and that didnt seem to solve the issue. I brought some Splitfire coil packs as there was some going cheap on skyaus. Installed them and it still didn't seem to solve the issue.. i then just started looking as sensors that may have been dud, i found one of the knock sensors had come out therefore i plugged it back in, took it for a run and it drives sweet again. Once i got back my alternator belt was squealing turned the car off and when i went to tighten it did i realize that there was no bolt. I remember on the track before it happened i heard a noise as if a piece of metal hit the ground but was not 100% sure as i couldn't hear well with the helmet on. i was thinking maybe some how that bolt came flying out and hit the side of the block, causing the knock sensor to come off also. Either way im glad its now resolved. thanks for the help guys
  7. hey thanks guys, will check them out today in the afternoon and let ya know if that was the issue.
  8. hey man oh sorry forgot to mention i did an oil/filter change and spark plug change yesterday (before the track day)
  9. Hey everyone I have a rb25 s2 motor in my skyline and i was on the track all day. I was driving the car hard however not on limiter but was around the 5000rpm mark regularly. Towards the end of the day my car all of a sudden felt very sluggish when i put foot down, so i pulled over and let it cool down for a while thinking it was just overheating. Took it for another spin but everytime i would flat foot the car doesn't pull and seems to be sluggish and the note of the exhaust changes and the noise of induction/boost seems to be louder than normal as if its under some load. If i however put my foot down very slowly then it won't be an issue and will run fine. I checked my boost on my avcr and the gragh climbes as normal. Once on full boost the graph stays constant without any spiking so i ruled that out. I then also thought maybe it could be my AFM not working properly but when i remove the plug on idle the car try’s to stall and runs rich, so again i ruled that out. My other two theories are either one of the coil packs has cracked due to heat or something is up with my fuel pump. Im running a GTR fuel pump and the car is tuned to about 260rwhp. Mods wise i got: Rb25det Stock ecu Turbo back exhaust Stock turbo Apexi AVCR Apexi SAFC ll Pod filter GTR fuel pump rewired straight to battery That’s about it, i haven’t had a chance to inspect the coil packs yet as it happened today but will tomorrow afternoon. I'm pretty certain it's a coil pack issue, what do you guys reckon? Cheers ni

  13. Hey dude check there website for the location: http://www.enzed.com.au/ Um I did my clutch lines for $90.00 but give them a ring and see
  14. Hey man not sure about every one else, but i always get them made at Enzed.
  15. Hey man My cousin uses this for he’s supra. http://www.supraforums.com.au/ I think there’s doesn’t have sub fields for each state instead has a for sale section and then just need to read the title as it usually states the "tag" as what state they are in. If your after engine stuff you can also try soarer central as they still use the supra motors http://soarercentral.com/cgi-bin/sc-forum/discus.cgi Ni
  16. Hey everyone Alright guys I’m going to try two oils out.. Firstly i went for the Motul P90A because 1) there’s been positive feedback saying they are great in the Cusco 2ways and quieten them down without it slipping. 2) The original owner of the diff said he used the Kaaz 2way oil which is a 80w-90. i will run the motul oil first, if it seems to be an issue i will change over to the higher viscosity Castrol LSX 85W 140 and try that as Steve stated. Thanks for all your input guys Ni
  17. If any one likes to go for a late night drive from time to time i always tend to go along the freeway until you get to perth city, then go along mounts bay road, which then become Stirling hwy where you pass north freo along the ocean, then i put onto leach hwy and get some maccas on the way home Otherwise if you want a fun drive, Kalamunda hills through the zig zags is always great.. Great view of perth also
  18. Hey dude Thanks for all the information man, will try out a few oils and see how it goes from there. Ni no. i never said anything about a brand name however i read reviews and most guys on forums such as Skyaus, Hardtuned post good reviews on the motul range, HENCE why i asked about it! not because i like the name nor care. i will go for a Mineral based oil as stated. thanks, ni
  19. Hey Steve I am leaning towards the 80-140, 85-140 viscosity Using an oil with such an viscosity in your diff have you found any problems when coming into tight corners or round about? Cheers, ni
  20. Hey guys Hmm i have no idea now which oil to choose. i say this because im getting a 50/50 opinion where some people state that the75w-90 is the best option, then other people say use a thicker oil such as a 80w-140. cypher industries said that the 80w-140 will be to thick for a car that is also used on the road and that when i come into tight turns it may be to tight, hence why Zac said to go a thinner oil such as the 75w-90.. But then in the cusco website they state a 80w-140, so all in all im more confused about what oil to get then i was before. I looked at the Motul range (as ive heard they work great with the 2ways) however the Motul 90PA is the only one which is mineral based. the 75-140 oils are all fully synthetic.
  21. Hey guys I think ive found the oil i am after which is the Motul 90PA Differential Oil.. Was reading a few threads on forums that had people talking about the Cusco 2ways and they found the Motul 90PA Differential Oil to be the best solution. It's a mineral based oil also.. Has any one else used this on there diff, if so how would you rate it? thanks for all the help Ni
  22. Hey everyone I have got a 2way Cusco diff and would like to buy some oil. On their website they say use an oil with a viscosity of 80w-140. I rung up the local workshops(Xspeed, Intune, cypher industries, Nissan). Xspeed said they will ring me back, cypher industries said they have redline oil however they recommend to use a 75w-90 because 80w-140 is to thick. Intune and Nissan both just dont stock any of those oils, Nissan dosnt stock Nismo oil either. So i just wanted to know what viscosity should i stick to? 80w-140 or as recommended by the workshops 75w-90? The car is going to be used on the track and also as a daily. Finally does anyone know who in Perth holds redline, motul or nismo oil to buy? Cheers guys, ni
  23. Hey man Thanks for the information. Hopefully this diff will be fine and i will get use to the "Style" of driving as some people say has to change. With the diff what oil do you use? I was thinking of using a motul around the 80w-140. Cheers
  24. sorry if i offended you didn't mean it in that way, i'll try out the 2way diff myself and see how it goes from there thanks, ni
  25. Hey man I will stick to the Cusco 2way, however how much do you want for the 2L of nismo/motul completition dif oil 75W140 ? and would this be suited for a cusco 2 way.. or is it the wrong oil for this type of diff.. cheers ni
