I want to get rid of my cd/cassette player and put a cd/dvd deck in it, and hooking it upto the pop up screen...then take the satnav unit with the japanese writing on it out and placing like a storage thing in there. 6. Went to RnB Superclub at Tank last night. Got in with sneakers jeans and a Tee from New Zealand that read "Sweet As" - obviously the kiwi bouncer interpreted it well enough to let me in. anyway 3 hours later im drowning in my own sweat...and i see this guy walk in with a suit...i was gnna call him an idiot.
  7. How much are you looking for it? Im Interested. Would have no idea for price range so i would be giving a WILD estimate.
  8. once cricket season finishes, im surely up for this!!
  9. may make an appearance, not up for the cruise.
  10. It would be heaps good if someone could organise a regular Penrith Skyline Meetup and an occasional cruise!!! Id rock up + my cousin with his 4 door GTT. its a great place!!!
  11. Tank on Friday nights is RnB Superclub...good but a bit trashy. Red Room near Martin Place is good - old school rnb plays there...at least when Ive been there. Have fun! The Ivy, Marble Bar, Zeta Bar, The Establishment are the classier bars/nightspots in Sydney. yeah RnB is dying here. just like to share my 2 cents - Gone are the days to be wearing right sized jeans and a pair of Nike sneakers. Instead, (i dont know how) guys wear jeans that are tighter than their girlfriends' and have to wear leather, pointed shoes to gain entry into a club that sells overpriced drinks and plays rubbish music. Any club that allows easy entry is pretty much a condo for pill poppers.
  12. lmao
  13. okay back from New Zealand. why have I missed what looked like so much fun!!! grrr!!! hey Anna...got the new rims on yet??
  14. Jamie, point taken. Thanks for your thoughts and reply. I do agree with the statistics. I had an argument with my friend today who pulled out from the RTA that 15% of drivers on the roads are p platers, and they account for 36% of fatalities on the road. In regards to whether cars should be confiscated or not. Personally, I think the current system is suffice enough. If we keep comnig back to this everytime a P Plater kills another individual, we will eventually get to the point where P-platers will have VERY limited rights on the road relative to today's laws. I can't think of any at the moment, but im sure there are better ways to address the 'issue.' There's such a negative stigma towards P Platers in relatively nicer cars. Theres so much "How does she afford that....He sells drugs...I wonder how many people he killed to drive that..." The media doesn't help at all as well. One more thought - us so called 'Generation Y' apparently have a "we are untouchable attitude" (which I strongly agree wiith) which could be associated with the cause of the forementioned statistics.
  15. Every law-maker who has a problem with "P-Plate speeding" are idiots. I just dont see any equality on our roads in regards to the so called 'issue' at hand.
  16. "P-Plate speeding" shouldnt be an issue. Full Stop. Everyone speeds. Why are P-Platers targeted?
  17. I'm never one the whinge or complain. And yes, the following looks like a massive hissy fit BUT....I've been planning to say it somewhere. I understand where the police and general public is coming from. From my own personal experience, I find that its full licensed drivers that intimidate P-Plate drivers to drive faster and more recklessly (watch everyone hit me back on that statement). During the christmas period I was driving up Woodville Road at 60km/h (probably a bit less). Anyway i stuck to the limit. Behind me is a guy in a Nissan Pulsar. He was right up on me. We get to the lights and all I hear is "F*ck you d*ckhead. You got all this power and you move like a f*cking turtle. What a f*ckin waste...(and he went on like Gordon Ramsay had just tasted McDonalds' Salads Plus Menu)" I put my finger up at him and let him go. Now Imagine another 17,18 or 19 year old...in fact...not many males would put up with that sort of rubbish. I had a similar encounter one night on Parramatta Road with a 50 year old male in a Ford XR8 who harassed me at every traffic light up to Homebush Bay. Anyway, Ten minutes later on the Horsley Drive I'm doing the speed limit. I see several full licensed drivers drive past me at 70, 80, and 90km/h. Where the hell are the cops? I bet as soon as I hit 70 a cop would have been on my case, the story would have been on the news, and my dad wouldve been calling me an idiot on the front page of The Daily Telegraph the next day. It's a bit difficult to stick to the speed limit when every other car on the road is flying past, and giving ego-filled teenagers a dirty stare and tongue lashing at the traffic lights. If the majority of the total death toll was caused by P-Plate drivers, then I would totally understand...come down on them harder. BUT one P-Plater has a major acident, and the whole of the general public chucks a fit and scream "ALL P-Platers are idiots. If they speed we should confiscate their cars." My question is - did no non-provisional licensed driver have an accident? Rubbish! This whole issue has been blown up by the media. We drive on the same roads. We have to follow the same rules. Heck, we even have to pay the same toll. But why is there no equality amongst Provisional licensed drivers in the law? my 2 cents, please share your thoughts.
