  1. haha yeah man, if i had my cash id be rolling on SSR Professors, or something similar with lots of dish. cheers for the crops!
  2. My late 1989 R31 GXE. never actually got decent shots of it, so i thought i should take some before its heart gets ripped out tommorow. probably one of the best cars i have ever driven...deffinitely getting another one down the track!
  3. cost alot to get surfaced no but seriously, out here theres private roads like that everywhere....rich farmland
  4. yeah its just plug and pray guys.
  5. Ok, think its about time i had the tune on my setup refreshed. currently running a Microtech LT12S with an established tune on it. to run a standard S1 RB25DET, T04E int gate turbo @ 16PSI, front facing plenum, FMIC, walbro pump etc etc...fairly modest setup. had it in the dyno recently, pulled 217kw which is pretty respectable. now im not necessarily after more power as such because im quite happy with the go it has. but more after a cleaner A/F mix and a few other little bits and pieces to make it a little less fuel hungry and a bit smoother at WOT. main issue im having atm is at WOT it seems to be fueling up so much that its missing, which gets quite annoying after a while. yes im running aftermarket coils (splitfires) with the correctly gapped plugs (0.7?)that are only a few thousand k's old. only use BP Ultimate (98RON). is apparent when i service it that it is fueling up a lot. apart from that thats it, fuel consumption is not great but its not bad either (easily managing 500ks of highway driving with a bit of overtaking ). cold starts are fine, idle is a bit high (1450RPM) which id like to get put down to 950/1050RPM (which im sure is just a matter of fishing through the hand controller/software but havnt been game to try it without someone who knows what theyre doing) im located in warrnambool which is about 3 hours drive west of melbourne, but willing to make a weekend trip up for it, wherever it may be. just after advice on any places that are reputable for tuning these particular ECUs. advice much appreciated
  6. i had an oiled panel filter on my old nonturbo motor, AFM was fine...never skipped a beat. then had a massive oiled pod on it aswell, same result.
  7. yeah optical illusion for sure. all RBs sit on that sort of angle.
  8. let me know what settings you get your alignment made to because mine sits pretty much the same in terms of camber and i want to fix it. or il let you know, whichever comes first lol
  9. tuff... engine bay is mint how much did the chrome plating cost?
  10. non-turbo ones wont have the correct portions taken out of them to allow the intercooler piping to pass next to them. still running a stock intercooler piping or have you changed that/the turbo? they should line up no worries....
  11. is your 33 turbo or non-turbo. there are a few crucial differences with each
  12. from a while ago (when the sun was still shining -.-) just stumbled upon it and thought id upload away
  13. rear reinforcement bar SOLD all other items have been listed on ebay, but still listing them on here. pics of the bar
  14. basically at this stage im posting interest on whether anyone is keen on parts from a 31. interest here or lack of will determine whether i part it out, sell it as a whole, or keep it for a rainy day . car is complete and running, only downsides are rear quarter and front bar are damaged, springs have been chopped so not really useful, and electrics at this stage are proving to be problematic, otherwise the car is in reasonable condition (far from excellent!) hence the want to just part it out. the main reason i want to get rid of it is obviously one less round of rego to pay, it served its purpose during my R33 buildup, and now sits dormant most days. am posting this same post on CSA btw cheers
