  1. From Bachus to Bp Calder tomorrow morning crikey! Text - If I do that you'll owe me 25c! I'll Send 1 through as well as indicate here if I'm going - (both) at 6:00ish (maybe a bit earlier).............. So Update first thing then go from there. I am keen to go. Mike, see you tomorrow.
  2. http://www.bom.gov.au/vic/forecasts/melbourne.shtml It smells of rain tomorrow...................................................... To be honest I'm 50/50 - when wet the dr stays in the shed. However, the guys from Toymods have put a lot of effort into this, I feel for their outcome. I'll check back here first thing tomorrow, I have no problems if anyone backs out, 7:30am sharp exit form BP Calder, yes? Just bloody unfortunate is all. Mike.
  3. and it would be handy if it is not wet, as i think the show is on grass so my semi slicks may not do the job........
  4. G'day. 7:30 it bp calder inbound it is. Steve can't make it. And the other Steve sold his hr30. So, will be us three and the Yota. Mike.
  5. Not mentioned here (as far as I know), some of you may know of it - so just incase some don't: The NDSOC and CSA/R31Clubs (no SAU this year but feel free to join in) are having a smallish Club Car Show in Melbourne, at Docklands Tomorrow. Hopefully(!) there will be a host of different vintaged Datsun Nissan Prince Vehicles of interest (I'm hearing the C.Kruger owned P.J DR30 will be there) Info: http://www.ndsoc.com...ent/view/217/1/ If you're in the area stop by and have a look, will be a good day for it. Regards, Mike.
  6. Yeah go for it! More 30's the better.
  7. Hey we may all be car parks numbers yet! Like you, doesn't really phase me, the show sounds like it will spill over to the car park anyways. I have been to many car shows since being in VIC and christ all mighty am I sick of looking at Mustangs and red neck Monaros. So to go to a JAP Day will be a fantastic change to the bland norm. Like you, I'm looking for R100's, Celicas, Bellets, 510's, 180b, Corona MK1, Stanza Coupe, christ I'll even look at a Civic! It will be interesting. Regards, Mike
  8. FJ20DR30 - If you want an early drive to collect bugs on the front of her, meeting us at BP Calder Inbound be my guest. We'll all work out a time later. Dennis - If you want to Drive to VIC (from memory you're over in WestEnd Draught Land) and join us be my Guest, fair bloody way though. I reckon the quality will be high so no guarantees you'll win anything, hahaha! edit: I am now reading there is no judging no tropheys, just a day to admire. The Historic Jap Car Show is limited to 120 pre 1986 "show cars", then from what I've read the car park, literally next to the show area will have errrm the not so showy cars limit 175 cars. So the car park could be more interesting than the show itself! Only 9am to 1pm so short but sweet.......... Here is the link to the info/flyer for it thanks to Toymods.org for organising: http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/victorian-events/70284-classic-japan-car-show-november-20th-2011-yarra-bend-park-fairfield-victoria.html Thanks to Mastadd (at a guess) Steve.C got in contact with me. He as you may know owns the old RavenOak DR from Sydney. He is 50/50 in joining us as he has his daughters birthday party the night before. So here's hoping he can also join us although he is way over East Lillydale way form memory. We may have to meet up somewhere Northern then head South to the Show. Worry about that later.
  9. BP Inbound - Correct and too easy. May just leave the meeting time in limbo for the moment - just until who is coming is sorted and if we have to meet them elsewhere on the way in. Cheers, Mike.
  10. Hello Mastadd, If you could let Steve know that would be fantastic. I have emailed and left a msg on CSA for him - but if you could do that, thanks very much. Mike.
  11. Crikey that seems a bit out of your way. Maybe we could pick you up somewhere along the way?
  12. And come to think of it, I know another Steve (from Ballarat) who owns an HR30 (you probably know of it) in Prime Condition, that'd be 5 HR's/DR's - all be it a long shot at a guess. Never the less I'll shoot him an email. Regards, Mike.
  13. I'm sure we can cruise over East from BP Calder InBound - too easy. Just thinking - the Ex RavenOak DR last spied at Cars Of The World, would make 4 DR's no? I know his name is Steve and Steve used to own a cool SVD Pulsar, met him once (if it's the Gentleman I'm thinking of) down at Hastings Car Show 4-5 years back - Member of CSA/R31................. just a thought if anyone knows how to contact, well apart from posting in R31club of course. Mike.
  14. crikey the show goes on - congrats to the C110 owner, congrats to all the winners for that matter and I'm sure a well done to the organisers. And, ahhh I'm out NorthWest - Anywhere between Bendigo and Clifton Hill would be good for me - however a couple of km's further East won't hurt.
  15. 3 in a row parked would be cool. name a time + place
  16. Well I'm, at this stage, intending on going to both. 3 DR's.......? Regards, Mike.
  17. Hi All, haven't been here for a while. Skyline Nats, wtf???? Anyone from VIC (or elsewhere) planning on going to these two Shannons Sponsored Jap shows? http://www.viczcar.c...pic,9910.0.html http://www.viczcar.c...ic,10084.0.html regards, Mike
  18. ^^yeah, i realise it's just a wiper^^ But ahhh I'd rather pay $170 to import monster to get me the real deal than go pulsar etc. Wouldn't worry some but it does me. Pm you tonight Dennis.
  19. Talking DR rear wiper: Thought: I may try my HR31 rear wiper on the DR..........................
  20. If you have one to sell that'd be fantastic. I'm sick of people saying "do you realise you're missing the rear wiper..................." "No, really" Maybe the one Chris had blew off due to how fast he drives..............? Maybe. Regards, Mike
  21. Just the rear wiper. If anyone has one to sell, please let me know! Cheers, Mike.
  22. Hey Mario, Reckon I just missed you at this, I had to leave early. How wide was that pit - The DR only just fitted over. They were expecting 25-30 cars but like you say weather was terrible......
