  1. Thanks very much for posting this information up. But just to adjust your message a little - the ACDelco Number is S55B24L And yes there is no problems fitting into rear shelf of an R33 GTS-T or GTR. Good Brand quailty Battery.
  2. Sounds like the "Smiths" of Lutana have moved up from Geminis and Crappadores onto Skylines.
  3. Hi, how's it going.... Can you please check BCNR33 - 006611 also maybe hard/easy, just as a matter of interest, what are the ranging vin numbers for R33 GTR N1? Thanks very much. Mike (Union76)
  4. Z31 Tough Cars - injectors tend to leak......... fire.........
  5. ^^^^here here^^^^ & "1C3B3RG" Younger car by age or kms travelled? Can you believe the kms travelled without records? No - this brings a lot of things into question And how many years between s1 and s2 GTR? Even S1 - S3 GTR? All in the same boat if you're askin' me. 96 GTS-T I've had (cost 15000 at the time), and if you threw 10k at one (ie extra that a GTR would cost ie 25k) how hard would it go? Sideways well! Lot of fun those things, how I miss going sideways - well the 2 wheeled sideways variety anyway!
  6. And buy an R33 for say 25k cash. Throw 5 or 10k cash at it and shit all over a std R34 GTR for the same or lower price? How much more power & performance does an R34 have over a R33 anyway? Heaps? all about the looks and again overall vehicle quality. R32? Smaller and lighter, what engine? my opinions so don't burn me peoples!
  7. How big's the difference between R33 S1, S2 & S3? The Headlights? The Stitching? The Steering Wheel? Performance lost there! Surely overall vehicle quality is the best option for buying?
  8. 350Z track rims+tryes for sale. These are all 18x8 with offset of +30. Front Tyres are Bridgestone 225/45/18 (60% tread left) Rear Tyres are Michelin 255/45/18 (50% tread left) They are original Nissan Rims. Asking $600fairlyfirm. I know these rims fit on an R33 Gts-t well (very well they look bloody good esp. if vehicle lowered) I know they do not fit on Gtrs. Pickup in Sunbury VIC (3429). 1 rim in photos has slight rash - not real bad though. If you're interested email me at [email protected] or just pm me. Thanks.
  9. Can't comment enough on how good this thing looks. I am now begging: "Beat Porsche - Bloody Win!!!!!!! Or at least get to Day5 - I will be on 1 of the 99 bends out of Queenstown, I would really like to watch/photo the team Donut King R35 going through this unreal section" "Watch out for ice/snow" - good luck, Mike.
  10. I am 30. Just Cars flexi premium for an r33 gtr vspec $698. Excess not real friendly but for a weekend car it's pretty good.
  11. white! (00)SKYLINE(00) - "going off Pal"!!! I got had in Doncaster/DoncasterEast in my tough old Z31 so many times.............. Car Wash: I'm free weekends only - where's that car wash? Watergardens way but where? Was over that way on Monday, saw a couple of Datsuns cruisin' round...........
  12. Yeah, I've been pulled over twice now here (at night!). Like you say they're more interested in having a look or a chat about the car. I don't mind living in Sunbury. Riddells Creek bakery goes off! People are a little rednecky though - & Bombodores galore, holden pieces of poo. I used to live in Doncaster and the cops there hammer you. You only have to look at them and your "Gone". Keep an eye out for ya KIRAS.
  13. I'm over Sunbury way............ I roam the streets only in daylight mainly on weekends - cops prowl here at night looking for victims! I hate cops.
  14. Now that I think about it - You may be right, would make sense....... Anyone else had one of these flog out? Thanks "Omurru" for putting the idea in my head - off to check it out Mike.
  15. Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance. Stock R33 GTR (Filters, full exhaust - no boost controller etc). Problem: After cruising on highway (hot or cold day) notice only 1 turbo is boosting. Turn GTR off, then back on and problem solved - back to 2 turbos. Happens only sometimes. Happened a few times now. No other problems than this. Looked at afms and connections - seem normal Can't find any vac. leaks. Again, any ideas - thanks. Mike.
  16. the LESS money it costs to enter a car, enter as a spectator or to eat a hotdog the more people will attend more people = greater revenue $ greed = 0 in the end that's my 2cents worth
  17. Yeah, done Kinglake a few times, nasty piece of road that - dangerous as but towards the King Lake National Park (ie past Dragway Wheels) side it's fantastic - Much like the East coast of VIC ie rolling fast hills and great scenery. Thanks for the invite!
  18. If you guys end up going on this little shindig, watch out for Petrol Prices in remote areas ie West and East Coasts. Launceston and Hobart of late have been the same if not cheaper than the Mainland but out the sticks where the roads are too good (you VIC fools think the Great Ocean Road is good) to describe, the prices are jacked up nicely. Also, only BP Ultimate down there since I was there last. Winter is the best and cheapest time to go. Hobart is an awesome place for a night out. And Drink CASCADE DRAUGHT, no Borries (Boags). Regards, Mike (Tasmanian living in Victoria)
  19. I recently went from a std 96 gts-t (great reliable car) to a nearly std 95 gtr. Severe difference in all deparments. They may look the same in ways, but that's where the buck stops. More Grip and more power from the GTR. Money talks though - the more money you throw at a vehicle the more improved it becomes, not hard to get good performance out of a GTS-T that's for sure. GTR costs more money to buy for sure, so if you spent the difference (say 10k - 15K) on a GTS-T how well would it go? Bloody well sideways I'm thinkin'.................
  20. "I love wide bottomed girls" - esp. R33GTR Union76's R33GTR - nice lines!
  21. Hi, I'm a little new to this forum, but I have a question: Does anyone know of this r33 gtr vspec. It's at Kamikaze Motors - The guys there reckon it's mainly std appart from exhaust and air filters, but I went for a spin and this thing goes pretty well. It has been registered in Victoria so I was wondering if anyone here owned it before or if anyone knows anything about it. thanks in advance.
