I have an E6X and get the same idle hunting with my AC on. Though it doesnt happen all the time. When it does I find just giving the throttle a blip to about 2K RPM and it then idles properly.

I work with serial adapters all the time. The best one I've found is a cheap STLabs unit. Can pick them up for about $35. They've worked with all the PLC Devices I've had to connect to as well as all my alarm panels and access control boxes. Also work well with my own Haltech.

Today I thought I'd finally get around to hooking up my Haltech EBC to cure my boost creep issue. When I was in the ECU setting up the PMW for the Wastegate Control, I noticed the whoever tuned the car previously has enabled the VTEC PMW input.. Anyone know why this might be? I'll upload the E6X map tomorrow if anyone wants to take a look at it. And a screen grab of the VTECH settings that have been programmed in. I'd love to point out where the PMW input for this one is hooked up to, but the wiring on this thing is a nightmare. Not happy with how it was installed (came with the car).
