  1. I actually didn't know that. Did we wanna change the meet point then? I'm not sure, where would be a good alternative? =\
  2. Yeah man as long as it's a jap import thats cool.
  3. Yeah good idea, So... Meet point Mandurah Forum undercover carpark 9pm, depart 9.30pm... Import cars only. Then stop off at Warnbro Fair carpark in Rocko. Then stop off at Leach Highway Maccas. And then to City West Carpark and back. Anyone else wana add there 2 cents. I want to get it all sorted by next weekend. So much for me just putting the idea forward and someone else organising it lol. And ne1 who's more cruise savy than me (most of you) wana give me a hand with the map/route we're gona take? And are we doin stop offs on the way back or what. I'll probably give out free t-shirts and stuff at each stop, which you can see on my myspace, if I'm feelin generous.
  4. Let's do it Saturday night, February 24th. I should have my dump pipe and new cat in by then. Meet point Mandurah Forum undercover carpark... Import cars only. @ 9pm, depart 9.30pm. Then stop off at Warnbro Fair carpark in Rocko. And then to City West Carpark and back. How's that sound to everyone? If you have any better meet points let me know. Once it's finalised I'll put all the info and stuff in the first post. Cheers.
  5. Cool cool, well I'll talk to you about it soon man. It will prolly be Feb 16th but Good Vibrations is on the 17th. So MAYBE the weekend after.
  6. Monga would you be interested in helping organising it? I was thinking Saturday night, February 16th? I sent ya a pm anyways. And class would probably be Jap Imports only. Would Mandurah forum undercover parking be a decent meet spot do you think or..? It's pretty much the only place I know in Mandurah so yeah.. lol, if you know anywhere that would be better let me know.
  7. Hey, Most of the cruises go from Perth down to South. I was thinking why not make it the other way around, for the Mandurah/Rocko drivers, start down south and we go up to Perth then back. Cruise details are as follows.. Class: Tuner & Import Cars only (Basically no commodores/fords, excels...you get the idea: jap performance only.) When: Saturday February 23rd 2008. Meet Point: Mandurah Forum ground level undercover carpark (behind Hungry Jacks) Time:Arrive @ 9pm for a 9.30pm departure. Regroup points: (from Mandurah forum): --> Warnbro Maccas carpark. Arrive Approx 9.55pm --> Leach Highway Maccas. Arrive Approx 10.45-11pm --> And then to City West Carpark. <--END (if your not making the trip back South) Optional Way Back (If you live around Rocko/Mandurah) <--Straight down Kwinana freeway then exit via Thomas Road and meet at ROCKO Maccas. END As usual the standard cruise rules apply which can be seen here. (Please give your friends the lowdown if they're coming along). I'll give out some free t-shirts (as seen on my myspace) to the overall best rides at the final stop point (City West). Maps handed out on the day. See you there.
  8. If your getting just the 'lows' you would barely even notice a difference in your ride height. I recommend superlows at least if your getting them. I just got these put in my r34 last week so if you plan on LOWERING the car, 'lows' is a waste imo.
  9. I got my superlows fitted on my 34 yesterday, also had the front shocks replaced with KYBs, forgot the exact model number. Personally I find the stock springs handle better, But it's not a major difference.
  10. But I have a clean sheet... surely they wont double and a half the insurance because I'm from bogan land. How old are you Fire Angel if I may ask?
  11. Yeah it was in Perth and his s13 wasn't insured either. =\ The driver was fine, they stole the car and judging on the footage they set it on fire in a vacant lot. I mean wtf would drive someone to hijack a car... then burn it.
  12. off topic but it was on channel 10 lol: I just saw on Channel 10 about some apprentice who got threatened in his s13 by 2 guys with machetes... the guys took the car... and set it on fire.. How screwed in the head can ppl get. :S
  13. Are you sure that's not your excess cost? My excess is 1k as well. And full comprehensive insurance with Just Car is about $2964 or something. Maybe coz I live in Rockingham they jack the price up lol. bastards.
  14. haha yeah same thing happened to me man. It's quite stupid. But at least they gave me 9.75% interest rate can't beat that. =] Now I just have to put up with being raped by Just Car in insurance. Is it true that if you modify your car, no matter what it is, without telling them, it voids the insurance?
  15. I'm 19 in early feb 08 and I pay 3k insurance with just car for my 34 sedan. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  16. Thanks dude, I'll give it a go tomorrow and let you know if it fixed it.
  17. I Originally posted this in SAUWA section, I forgot bout the GM section. My bad.. Anyway, I've got this problem with my central locking. Everytime I go to lock the doors, my left passenger door lock doesnt seem to well... lock. It makes an attempt, meaning the lock switch twitches but just doesnt make it all the way for it to be locked! So for now, I have to lock that left door from the inside manually before I get out, which as you can iimagine can get quite annoying. And for the record, it was doing it both before and after I got my alarm system fitted in. Anyone know why this is, and hopefully how to fix it? The guys at Imports 101 might have missed this fault. I'm sure they'd kindly fix it for free, but if it's simple to do I'll do it myself to save me making a treck to Vic Park to fix something that could possibly be a 15-30 minute job for all I know. Thanks.

  19. How big was the turnout on the IF cruise on the 13th?
  20. +1 on Imports 101. My r34 was imported by them but I only bought it through them when it landed and was looking for it's first Oz owner.
  21. Thanks for the replies. Duncan, on my box for the car cover it says they don't recommend covering it for 5 days or more straight, so yeah I was just trying to make sure if I would be doing any long term damage, because it is quite windy in Rocko! But cool, I'll just make sure there isn't any dust etc on it before I put it on obviously. Cheers.
  22. I've got a nylon car cover at home, it's fits the R34 fine, but I was wondering if it does any damage to the paint or windows in terms of scratching after say 2-4 days with it on. And obivously it would be a weekly occurence, so in the long run, would it scratch or..? Thanks.
