I sure will keep you guys posted. The next few months I am flat out with engine mods. And planning my big trip to Japan in October. But between now and then I'll try and track down a custom body shop that can give me some advice. Most realistic way would be to fibreglass over the indicators and see what modifcations needs to be done to the coupe tailights in terms of fitting and electrical. But it's not a priority for me, got a lot more to be done before this. Only place I can think of that do custom import body mods is C-Red? The guy I need to speak to about quieries (forget his name) is never available when I call, and living in Rockingham makes it hard to just 'stop by', actually tried doing it twice but no luck. Anybody know of anywhere else?

Yeah Rhys that's what we were discussing, I can get the indicator fibreglassed over no worries. The next issue would be gettin a coupe light and trial fitting the coupe lights and testing the connections to see what needs to be modified. I'd put about $1,500 just towards this project if I have to. A set of sedan LED lights are $1,200. Signifcantly more expensive than the coupe model. Even with custom fabrication I think my idea will both be unique, and a lot more worth the $$. Still waiting if someone has a spare one that I could borrow for a weekend or 2.

You can get a GReddy M-Spec intercooler kit from Autoworx for $600. I picked one up last week.

I've got a few parts to go on this weekend. I'm def gona look into this more. I reckon it can be done one way or another. I can get the 4 door indicator at the bottom covered up by a panel beater, that shouldn't be a problem. I guess if I'm doing it that way though, I'd need to trial fit a set of coupe taillights beforehand, and see how much modifying needs to be done. Has anyone got a spare coupe taillight that I could borrow for a weekend in about 3 weeks? Cash your way for taillight 'rental'. Or if someone could measure the diameter of the coupe taillights for me that would be a great start. As for the $$ Rhys, let's just say she'll be more than ready for Auto Salon '09. Cheers.

Hey Rush, couldnt find any answers by searching. The indicator shouldn't be a problem as I'm wanting to know if the actual body work around the tailights can be switched. (Your sig is a good example of the coupe's tailight and the panel around it. If it fits on the Sedan then their shouldn't be a problem with the wiring of the lights. When you buy Sedan tailight replacements, they come with the panel around it as well. I was wondering if this panel is the same fit as the Coupe, unless you mean connecting the wiring as well with the indicators will be a pain. =\

I thinking about changing my taillights. If it's possible, I think it would be really unique for a 4 door 34. Looking at it, the actual body work (in silver) looks like it would be a direct swap with the body work of the coupe model. Can anyone give me confirmation of this? Cheers. Stock Sedan: Coupe style:

I so badly want a CF bonnet. But I'd need to get a 2 door model front bumper too. and if I get defected, would have to swap back to the sedan bumper and bonnet, unless I buy a spare coupe bonnet as well. What a pain, anyone know the reason why they're illegal?

I'm going to Japan again for 2 weeks. First time going to Tokyo however. Like 600ZILLA I'll be going to watch the D1, but Round 7. I'm staying at Shinjuku Washington. So from reading his post I've got that all organised fine. However, just wondering if there are performance shops that would be easy to get to from where i'm staying. (8 min walk from shinjuku station). Last time i went to Japan on an exchange program, which involved buying gifts for all the family and boring stuff like that. This time I plan on going and bringing back a whole lot of goodies for my 34. Any other places recommended to check out during my 2 week stay would be sweet as well. My popping seems to be getting more 'meaner' as of late. only when I let it rev to about 6k though. Hope that won't be doing damage in the long run. I dont let it rev to that much very often though..

I went out and bought Mobil 1 0W -40 for my line. I'll be changing to it this week. My car's done just over 97500km's. Mods are full turbo back, pod, fmic, and uppin the boost soon. Hopefully it will be all good.

I bought the AUS version today, and gettin the g25 race wheel 2moro. Love the graphics. Can't really add m2c on the gameplay til I get the wheel.....
