you just cant knock the potential of the gtr though glenn with basic exhaust, pods, and boost upgrade you are looking at high 12's. jlnewtons did 13.4 stock!! thats just awesome

the only problem with the conversion is you spend the 6-7k as you said and you wont get it back. Think of the money you could get from selling your car now, probably about 13-16k ??? plus the 6-7k you were going to spend on it, works out to be plenty for a real nice 33 gtst

you will really notice the differnce with the new shocks and springs, i only have the stock ones in mine lol i think ill get bored of my car at the end of this year or early next year by that time i should have done all the work i want to it and it will be time to look at a gtr

are you looking at putting a rb25det or a rb20det in?

well just find a nice 33 gtst with coilover suspension and strut braces etc and youll be set im more into drag though, the twisties scare me

i was interested until i saw the price lol I realise its privately booked out and it does cost alot of money to do that, bu the last test and tune we just went to i had more then enough runs (17) for $32 and had a awesome time.

Yotis those are the ones i got from what i know they arnt a complete bush on their own, just a spacer that gets fitted in there to decrease movement in the sub frame.

i dunno haha i didnt bother to ask i bought them for $170 of the group buy section of these forums but from what i can tell the only downside is the harshness of them which im prepared to put up with if it helps improve my 60' times.

im getting the alloy ones put on my car next week, ive been told they make the car a bit harsher to drive but they are great for traction and cornering. They get rid of axel tramp so theres minimal movement in the sub frame. I think the standard ones are only rubber? not sure but the polyurethane ones are a good in between bush as they still help with axel tramp but arnt as harsh as alloy ones. Hope that helps
