Can you check fuel pressure in the car? If so how.???

Thanks for that. Im having that checked. I also started thinking that it could possibly be some sort of bad fuel connection. Maybe i'll get a fuel pressure test done? Mick

I will have to check the com report. I think it's sokmething electrical but it's hard to find because it doesn't do it all the time. Today at the lights I was just idling and then the lights went green i tried to go but the car would not budge! After i turned it on and ofand reved it up a bit it was fine again. Im thinking maybe some sort of fuel prob?

The car was imported new into the country by the new owner in 99 for $155000! He has a collection of 33 cars. The compression test come back as 2% leakage ( New motor ) I'm not that silly.

Ive seen it a couple of times, last time I saw him was about 2 days ago in the city............. I smashed him hehehe. It looks alright. The guy looks to be about 30 years old.

Sorry to say but you can't compare the prices of car yards to private sellers. I know my GTR's and I know that you can get these cars for under $100k. There are 3 in the latest unique cars for sale for $85K. I have seen 2 of the 3, they are all 1999 models and thats all they are worth. The 2002 ones are $100k + but not the 1999 models. the black one I saw for sale in Bowral was immaculate! 18,000kms. We all want top dollar for our cars but the market for these cars is pretty slim. Your best shot is ' UNIQUE CARS " as real buyers including myself buy this book reguarly. I just paid $62k for a 98 R33 V-spec 12,000kms. Brand new condition, $10K WHEELS $8K BREAKS $20K IN OTHER RECEIPTS. I wanted the best so I looked for 2 years, and I found it. I know what you mean when you say there are GTR's and there are gtr's, there is a big difference in a GTR priced at $35 and one priced at $60k. Most people want the cheap ones cos they cant afford the quality ones. try Unique cars you wont be dissapointed. I love the look of your car man and If at the time i could have afforded 100k then I wouod have deffinatley considred it. But $60k was enough for me seeings though im only 22. No worries. I was just tacking a couple off old friends for a spin around the city. I was tempted to launch it at 7,000 revs but I kept my calm...... hehehe. We will catch up sometime

Not sure yet. It seems to have dissapeared over the last 2 days. But Jake from " jakes performance is going to have a look at it, he thinks it's something to do with the electronic fuel pump or AFM. Mick

Im taking the car into Jakes performance to have it cheecked out. I have driven the car the last 2 days and there has been no problems at all. Only a slight miss when the car was idling

Prob with GTR... Auto electrician? Can anyone recomend a good auto electrician? Im havig probs with the new car and it's really starting to bug me! Yesterday and today I was driving the car around for about five minutes and then suddenly the car would sort of jerk a bit, and then I would loose all rev power and the car would just sit on 1,000 revs and I could'nt moove the car, the needle would just hover between 1&2 revs. It would turn itself off, and then once I restarted it, it would drive fine. The problem happened again today. It feels like a fuel problem or a boost prob, any ideas?

Hi guys. Im having the air flow looked over by a mechenic today. Im not to sure if it will be that though, as sometimes the car runs beautifuly, and others, just out of the blue it will do as I mentioned. At first i thought it might be a problem with the boost controller...... but Im not sure as I dont know much about the mechenics of the car. Regards Mick

I dont think the engine baywas washed befoe I picked it up, as the car is like new. It drove fine on the way back to Canberra, the problem started 2 days after I got it. Im not sure if it would be a battery problem, as the car starts fine and when driving just chockes and dies all of a sudden, usually when on boost. I wouldn't mind meeting up somewhere if you would like to have a look mat the car. It would be good to meet another GTR man. Cheers

Hi everyone. I have just brought my new GTR 33 and yesterday was driving it around, I went around a corner in second gear and changed a 5 revs, the car then sort of almost stalled, and had no reving power at all it just idles at around 1 rev. I turned the car off and on and the problem disappeared. Again today same thing only twice it happened. I could feel the car getting a little sluggish and then........ back down to 1 revs with no power the car would just roll to a stop! Does any one know what this could be? Do you think it has any thing to do with the boost controller which I have not touched since i brought the car. It has only 12,000kms on the clock. Thanks

What is your reason for selling? Will it fit an R33 GTR V-spec.

I have cancelled the order. I am now buying a better one from UNIQUE auto. I missed out on buying this one 4 weeks ago but it has come back up for sale. App it is the best GTR example in Australia. I know that is a hug statement, but those words where coming from a GTR expert who has seen many in his life. It was brought into the country new in 98, and has had $30k spnt on it since. It has only 10,000 kms on the clock. I cant wait to see it.
