after a broken transfer case in the first round of qual at jambo 08... we ran 8.4 at 134mph in the first round 7.95 at 175 in the second round 7.85 at 179 in the semi finals 7.84 at 182.1 in the final of super mod...with a 1.33 60ft.. ha ha .. and yes its still a 2.6ltr..... big thanks to my crew for a big effort on sat night to replace the transfer case, justin, harry,scott and benny..was worth the effort.. cheers, mark Godzilla Motorsport...

this one might catch a few out.. the godzilla rule book says gears must be maually shifted with the drivers hand .. not pushing the playstatioin controller button to change gears..

its a full automated driving system (also not in the gtr rule book)...... means i can have one hand on the wheel and the other hand is free for other duties... cheers...

hi guys can someone help me with a question... im looking for a copy of the nissan gtr drag racing association rule book.... i have been informed by a gtr drag expert that only cars running petrol fuel count....when it comes to record times...worlwide so me ,reece and glen have to retune for pump gas....e10 at 40 psi nice......... cheers, mark

we will keep racing the gtr up until a buyer is ready... i have priced it to sell .... we are fitting a slider type clutch soon to have a go a few other times... price will be about the same with that fitted... prob worth a few 10ths down the quarter.. say if you lived in the uk thats about 30,000 pounds to be the first in the uk to run 7 secs... not bad...ha ha cheers, mark.

also just letting all know that the godzilla 7 sec gtr is up for sale .. with a fresh motor 90grand...sponsours can be arranged for new owner...and track support. motor is still fine from the 7 sec passes had a broken wire in the crank angle sensor...bugger we are working my best mates pro rwd nissan g35 now should be finished at christmas.ready for testing.. and our goal once i sell my car is to have 2 of the same pro rwd cars... one with a vq35 and mine with a rb26 for a little while just for fun... cheers, mark..

just a little advice... the smaller ati balancer is all you need for street gtrs.. i ran one for 2 years making 850hp at the wheels and 9500rpm...with no probs.. the bigger 1000hp balancer is only for serious engines 800 to 1200hp...racing only... cheers. hope this helps...

we had a sideways type day.. only got 2 runs out of 5 down the track... with boost taken out for the track and cold weather...conditions pb was good 8.07 at 171 mph...with 15 deg track temp... was a bit silly after watching the video run at home on the tv.. oops it was a shame that the boostn vl broke when we had a match race in qualifying would have been close racing... with all our data we have a 7.8 sec car which we cant wait to run.. maybe at the winternats great to see a good croud at a sport compact event . worth the drive from bris anyway...thanks for all support. thanks to ben and paul for there help and great company over the weekend... big thanks to my crew harry and justin for great work... cheers , mark

the godzilla motorsport gtr will be running at this event... after a 8.1 at 174.4 mph pass on an average willowbank track at the tin tops it just might be at wsid that we run a 7 sec pass... see you guys there... cheers, mark

i said 150.00 for 4wd dyno power runs. 100 for 2wd... thats what i charge as it takes over 1/2 hr to set up the car 3 power runs and any cheaper and its not worth it... and yes it can be a pain to do power runs but i do them as it generates work.... also get your story correct before posting rubbish.... hope this helps ..

thanks guys . we are very happy we ran that pass about 2 in the arvo was quite hot and had a fair bit of wheel spin off the line.... our other passes one run bogged of the line and ran 8.4 at 169.98 with a 1.47 60ft at 5.30 in the arvo with better air . then our final run was at 7.30pm but we crossed the centre line in 2nd gear so aborted the run.... just need to get the rear suspension sorted and it will be great.. cheers, mark

thanks guy.. first run was very bad air for turbo car 90 %hum and 3000ft above sea level... happy with the first run as all the v8s were 1/2 sec slower as well... 2nd run was much better air but we broke the transfer case shifting into 2nd gear....thats racing.... we have heaps of spares so i will fix it and keep you guys posted.... cheers, mark

we have entered the gtr in the 4/5 jan 08 event at willowbank .. after a few dyno runs we found a bit more power . and a prepped track hopefully to run a new pb and crack the time set by gtr700.. we have decided to give it all now we got the car is running nice and consistantly..see what the little 2.6ltr can deliver... cheers ,mark

1.32 60ft 133mph to 1/2 track.. the run before ran 1.300 60ft....8.4 backed off out of shape top end of track... the shute never opened at 168mph that was fun stopping...with smaller brakes than gtr stds... cheers, mark

at willowbank test n tune last night we ran 8.34 at 168.4mph last night... thanks to all who helped.... cant weight for a prepped track... cheers.
