Hey guys hoping somone can help. I recently rebuilt my rb25det and im still running it in, it has started to miss fire constantly. Ruff idle. Spark plug in cylinder 2 was wet when i pulled it out and stunk like fule. I have swaped plugs and swapped coil packs. All the injectors seem to be firing. I pulled them out and blew them out with air. One lifter is noisie, is there any chance that a collapsed lifer could cause a miss ? One strange thing is that I was in the sticks and I put caltex 95 in it rather than the bp98 that the microtech was tuned for. Only 10 litres. As soon as i got back to A bp i filled it up with 98. Just after this the problem started. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. cheers mark

If you buy new ones and you can get them with a thiner cross section they will seal with less torque on them.

Is there anything you can put on them to stop them going yellow again? I just used the polish on a buffer on my drill worked good as but dosent seem to last.
