  5. Is this a Z32 AFM?
  6. anyone got one?
  7. As above.
  8. Sounds about right. I just thought that steel wheels would actually make the turbo better than the rb25 turbo. But the rb25 turbo is better overall for street use as the vg30 is a bit laggy.
  9. bump! im still looking.
  10. is the vg30 single nissan turbo from a vl turbo, worth putting on a rb25 in terms of overall power and boost?
  11. sounds really good. I will let my friend know. Thanks for the advise.
  12. i think the series 2 does spool faster.
  13. has anyone done this as my friend is interested in purchasing a rx7 series 5 turbo for his r33.
  14. The series 1 turbo is best for the rb20 due the wheels being made of metal no plastic like the series 2 turbo(I think). Series 1 turbo can take 14psi on rb25 so 17psi on rb20. Series 2 turbo cant take 12psi on RB25 so 15psi on rb20
  15. well ive tryed over the weekend the benefits of pod in engine bay vs pod under guard. Results as below: In engine bay: * Poor response * Lacking in power * Sucks in heat and dust Underguard: * Very Excellent response * Feels like more power * Some signs of elements(water, dirt) being sucked in but very minimal. So under the guard is the best form of cold air especially if you feed the cold air to it. hope it helps
  16. i think this thread has moved it focus from a rb25 to a rb20. So to get things going. Is it a waste of time to bolt on a standard vl turbo onto a r33? Wouldnt the bigger exhaust housing and steel wheels make it an advantage over the rb25 turbo and thus more boost and power? The standard rb25 turbo has fantasic response but lacks top end power which would be useful from a vl turbo.
  17. yeh i know i had the same problem. It came of and got minced in the guard / tyres. Now i need a new one.
  18. sorry guys boost gauge just sold
