What do they define as a Early Model R32 GTR and a Late model? I notice that late models run larger rotors than the ealier models.....true?

Hey all, Looking at getting some lowering springs as I already have adjustable shocks and don't want to sink too much money into the car yet. Was wondering what springs people have used and what their thoughts are? I'm looking to drop the car about 35mm in preparation for track. (R32 GTR) The only 2 springs I have in mind are WhiteLine and Tein S-Tech. Do any of these offer different ride heights. Can Spring Rates be customized? If so, what does everyone recommend? I was thinking, 5kg/4kg. Tein offer 3.7kb/4kg. Thoughts? Thank you

I'm damn keen too. Doesn't really matter where I have to go. Putting off buying the PFC cause I haven't found a tuner yet. Leaning towards PITS down the coast but haven't got a quote yet. Any ideas? Thanks also

Strange thing I notice when driving the R32. Everyone has a point to prove or they really want you to notice them. Someone will decide to do something silly like speed off only to brake 1 second later. We're stuck in traffic buddy. Or they'll speed up just to cut you off. When you're in the slower lane................... Didn't really have the problem with my previous cars. =\

+1 Redline Shockproof Lightweight. Just used it in a R32 GTR box. It previously would crunch 4th and 5th if shifting @ high RPM or WOT, without fail. Lazy syncro or something. Lost a few races due to this Now it's fine! No more double clutching @ 7,000rpm And no more dropping out of boost!! It's awesome, love my smurfs' blood

another +1 to what everyone has said so far about driveability. I've had lighten flywheel in both my previous cars with heavy clutches. Traffic was a bloody pain in the ass. Alot of clutch dipping and riding needed Response and pick up is awesome. Loved having the cars rev out so fast. My 32 GTR on the other hand is practically stock and it's the easiest thing to drive. Not a single problem in heavy traffic. Creeping foward in stop/start traffic just requires me to let the clutch out (without accelerating). No stupid jerking motions. The car isn't sensitive to throttle inputs either. It's nice to have a car that doesn't make a fuss when u need to move @ 10km/hr I guess it comes down to how often do you drive in traffic?

RE-01® and RE-001 are different tyres no? I've used RE-01, pretty damn grippy. Next best thing to a semi I think. They came with a set of rims from Japan. Also, driven a WRX on RE001, also a awesome tyre but a lil exxy. Very quick response with changes in direction and well planted. $280 for 215/45/17

I also have one in the R32 GTR. A bit rich, pops flames and all that jazz. Car has run up to 1.1bar on stock turbo fine. Very cold night though. Doesn't like certain fuels. The car runs a bit more sluggish if not on BP Ultimate. I'm going to guess these things were tuned to run 100ron fuel. As there is a big sticker on the inside of my fuel flap with some japanese writing and "100ron!!!!" on it.

I'd put up my hand if you need them taken off your hands ASAP.
