  1. not legal!!!! sux I wanted to do mine with some night shades spray too..lol my old rx7 had it in USA and it looked sweet on a chalk white car with dark windows
  2. both stink, too much of a femmie colour for a skyline
  3. front end sux, the rest isnt too bad...imo
  4. interesting item, mate the cable your looking for is right there already, it needs interfaced into current wiring harness to work power, ground, illumination, RPM, and other computer pickups off sensors, should be a piece of piss to hook up for a good electrical guy with a wiring diagram for GTT off here ? can you take a photo of the back of it up close ? might give more insight to connections used
  5. yellow r34 with nismo kit on expressway exit, chick driver... think she lives in seaford ???? see her often lately white r33 off wheatshit road in MV abes twin poser again..lol
  6. Be happy to have a calender, hey flick can we maybe vote on the photos used for the 2010 one ? just a suggestion ? and get a deadline for photo submission ? not to be too picky but some of the photos used were low resolution ones when the hi res were provided for use ? could have been a designer error or printer error . but hey thanks for putting up your hand to do one hey I have some nice shots of luke blowing his chunky dinner on the sidewalk in kadina for the back cover ...lol kidding!!!! Luke
  7. 4 ga wire can handle the power below in red. it should be fine your install, any 2 amp wiring kit, with 4 gauge in it should be fine, you do get what you pay for in connections kits. but dont overlook ebay , most of that is more then good enough on a budget . otherwise, street wires, or any name brand from the dealers. I used US Audio for the cheap installs, works fine saves some cash 4 GA max load is 135amps, 60amps continuous load safe
  8. spotted the same cars up the road further, plus about 5 other lines spotted a black ferrari spyder driven by a "gold chain poser" on jetty rd ...what a tool Gray R35 same spot, with P plates....WTF!!! L plater same spot in a white r31 full of kids, acting like a fool flooring it on train tracks way to many more today to list
  9. low fuel pressure ? or crappy fuel. vapour lock maybe timing, airflow ? heaps of things
  10. Hey its a decent option, it did win 1st place over lots of big hitters ? and yes I do know a tiny bit about pro car audio, 16 + years worth of it now. not knocking Option Audio, its a great product as well. doesnt matter what brand if its installed like crap is the point Im making
  11. spotted a dark silver stag, workplace in hackam.. spotted a silver stag with chick driver and little kids in back, on states rd about 820am
  12. PM sent, due to his privacy his details wont be posted online, he isnt a mate just somebody I met while shopping
  13. silver stockish stag, states rd around 820am. chick driver ?
  14. so pulling harder while squeezing less, feels like you can get to where your going faster....lol sorry, setup again. good on ya dave, just dont blow it up now...lol
  15. not the same GTR I spotted, the one I saw had bronze wheels and much cooler looking
  16. it doesnt stop real crooks, my mate caught crips gang members in LA pushing his lowered pickup, driving it with vise grips for a steering wheel and a old chunk of steel jammed into the shifter to get it out of gear. he had a removable shifter and steering wheel. in the end they got it a few days later and it was stripped down to the shell no matter how secure you think it is , consider it gone if a real crim wants it but take all steps to thwart them......a big junk yard dog works better!!!!!
  17. what shade of blue, I saw two guys driving in a bayside blue GTR R32 the other day near jaycar?
  18. not stepping on toes or not to pay you out mate, but your portfolio of the wine company site is shocking, the bottle graphics dont fit in the boxes. distorted bad ? you look good for SEO but the design end is a bit weak. imo I do sites. graphic design but in the process of a company restructure, name change due to partner leaving. and would be happy to shoot you a few ideas for free, if R34 NOS wants to build the site you can run with my ideas since I cant do all the work right now ??? low cost design charges if you like what you see ? shoot me what you have now, and any a description of your biz , I'd be happy to brainstorm a few ideas your way, cheers [email protected]
  19. if its a unpsrung hub you shouldnt be driving daily, best for racing a light flywheel, = more slipping to get moving on hills from standstill, wearing the clutch faster riding the clutch pedal,,,even the slightest bit on the pedal will kill the clutch/throw out bearing out of alignment /bolt torque not even will kill the clutch oil on the plate = failure. water on the plate will warp it oily hand prints will hot spot it ending in failure hope this helps a bit ?
  20. Decided will use coax in back good choice, they will be fine can be run off the deck power or amp but will disort if you like it loud on deck power ? Would prefer a mono for sub mono amp is fine for sub, just make sure the ohm load can be run without frying it. 2ohm DVC sub run in parallel =1ohm on the 1ch amp, 2- 4ohm coils in parallel = 2 ohms on a 1 channel amp. when you run the amp on its lowest ohm load the power doubles normally, but you do loose some control of the cone on the woofer(dampening factor) and it also increases the load on the cars electrical system in most cases. a modest amp run on 1ohm as long as its digital class amp, not AB class should be fine expect to use at least 4ga wire from battery, a big fuse block/breaker to protect the car from shorts. and a ground distibution block to make it look nice I would run a Dual 4ohm voice coil sub in parallel imo at 2ohm load to a mono amp unless you want to compete in sound offs for max SPL and 4 channel for speakers, or can i use a 2 ch for speakers? best bet is a 4 channel in the 40-75watt RMS power range to retain fader from front to rear speakers, if you only use a 2 channel amp you will loose that option. or run the rears on the back channels of the radio, not ideal!! but fader will work then (and cap the bass out of the rears to avoid distortion)run the 4channel amp on the high pass xover to block out the deep bass from the front/rear speakers, around 150 hz or so is a good starting point for 6.5 in speakers, the tweeters normally have seperate xovers to block bass already. I got a fiberglass subwoofer enclosure for the boot right rear for a 12 inch sub. sounds good, make sure if secured good and sound deaden behind it, the boot lid, and rear bumper area at the min, and doors inside panel and outer skins, sounds way better and not so many rattles make sure the seal on the sub is perfect, not leaking air when pushed in gentle ?and get a grill on it or kiss it good by when crap his it in the boot make sure the volume of the box is enough, and you might want to add a bit of poly fill, pillow stuffing inside the box to stop standing waves from making the bass sound muddy and loose ?. not too full, and you can spray glue the walls and toss handfuls of it on the glue to stick without hitting the basket on the woofer. on GTT you can remove the jack and move it to the spare tire well to free up a nice size area for a 10-12 in stealthy installed fiberglass box completely hidden , no loss of boot space either.. and amps can be placed in the drivers side, same area if space permits depending on the amp remember the floor is vented near the bottom , so make sure the amp isnt too close to get wet ? and dont screw thru the side of the car, yes I have seen it done...lol the sub can be run off a 1, 2 channel, 4, or even 5/6 channel amp... depends on what you want, how loud, etc, etc find a good installer ???? Trying to find one. Can you help? I could but Im in adelaide. lol PM chris rogers to see if he knows anyone in your area. I only know installers in town, Chris and lots in USA...But thats a bit of a drive underwater....LOL do you like it loud ? Loud enough but not, blow your mind away, Enjoy RNB music loud this setup will get very loud and be crystal clear if installed right, and sound deadener used
  21. Stinger are rebadged batteries, and very similar to odessy, minus the steel cases the 680cca is a lot more power in real world then the 450cca, peak current is nearly 1200amps ...I had a pc1200 in my car which failed , had a faulty grid inside it after a few months, but it was a grey ,market import, no warranty from odessy so beware , make sure you get the right OZ bar code to get warranty on it if needed. but normally these batteries dont fail for a long time and take a beating I also recommend the spiral cell from gates/Optima, had one for 11 years and it never failed, even in snow , high power tunes, rotary race car vibrations etc. if you need a decent battery all of these would be great improvements on normal ones. but if you run a huge stereo they become nearly madatory imo if your after a small one just to save space then the stinger would be fine. watch out for 16v models, you would need to change some stuff to run one of those
  22. spotted a black r32, no wing, black wheels , debadged on south rd, reynella spotted that white stag , possible a RS260 , with GTT wheels in same area teal r33 on states rd white r33 same area black r33, with obviously defectable ....way too low ...cut springs , bouncing its way down the road ....states rd stock looking S13 with a huge white kitted front bar on it, on states rd.. stands out bad for defectville vt commo with metallic lime green body kit parts,, SWEEEEEEEET!!!!!!NOT yeah Abe I met the guy with the white R32/Nismo sticker at his work near yours, chatted skylines for a half hour while he was on the clock..hahahaha
  23. just use heavy flow tampons then dave...hahahahahah sorry had too...lol
  24. take a step back and think before leaping good 6.5 splits in the front, any brand is a huge improvement, some obviously cost lots more decent 6.5 coax in the rear to match the fronts if possible, but the rear is optional ? can be run off the deck power or amp but will disort if you like it loud on deck power ? a sub , doesnt need to be huge , more depends on the enclosure and how the sound enters the car ? on GTT you can remove the jack and move it to the spare tire well to free up a nice size area for a 10-12 in stealthy installed fiberglass box completely hidden , no loss of boot space either.. and amps can be placed in the drivers side, same area if space permits depending on the amp remember the floor is vented near the bottom , so make sure the amp isnt too close to get wet ? and dont screw thru the side of the car, yes I have seen it done...lol the sub can be run off a 1, 2 channel, 4, or even 5/6 channel amp... depends on what you want, how loud, etc, etc find a good installer ???? do you like it loud ? can you afford a custom install or just a generic box ? do you want it for shows ? what type of music ? some brands are better suited for rock, hip hop, classical ? pioneer is a good brand and like most these days, made in china or asia.....not japan anymore. doesnt make it bad equipment ? so dont stress over that will you use sound deadener ? and buy a alarm first if you havent got one? some amps pull lots of current, which will cause extreme loads on alternators/batteries so be warned in advance, you may need to upgrade your battery if its still the old crappy jap one ? speakers and deck ....pioneer are decent, but there are a lot better amps on the market, dont overlook JAYCAR they produce some decent ones for cheap but you need to decide on what you want more by the questions above to do it right the first time dont cut your rear deck , its defectable if they get picky , (structual part )
