  1. Anyone know the cheapest place to get a new E-Boost II? Cheapest I could find was $650 from fleabay
  2. THere isn't an issue compatability wise, the only issue you might run into is that the heads between the LS1 and L98/LS3s are different if I remember correctly. Having said that, alot of people who are chasing power with the LS1s end up swapping their heads for either the L98 or LS3, as the flow rate of theose heads are top notch, even without touching them. So if you happen to do a head swap, then absoloutley, the blower will fit on.
  3. Hahaha, yep that's me! Was over the moon when I found out I was getting featured in Street Commodores. Means my 33 and now the SS-V are magazine cars hahaha Small-ish update. Considering selling my Harrop supercharger setup for a twin turbo kit instead. Until I get a buyer, probably won't happen. So fingers crossed someone wants a stealthy supercharger that'll push 400rwkw no worries, so I can get my TT happening!
  4. Hai guys! I noticed there's a real lack of pushrod V8 chat here
  5. Sounds... interresting. Could proabbly do the same at St Kidla I guess hahaha Sweet! Either at the moment. She doesn't mind doing some shift work/weekend work but I don't mind either as I'm full of beans and energy so an extra income source wouldn't go astray! Means I can get my 33 GTR sooner haha Yeah, was looking at night fill but not many sueprmarket chains are doing it anymore I heard Super keen for extra work.
  6. Anyone know of any weekend work or night shift work going?
  7. Yep, I hit them hard and eat enough, was hoping it wouldn't be genetic and somthing simple that I'm not hitting
  8. Anyone have tips to build some thickness in the upper pecs, primarily just below the collar bone? The rest of the pecs seem to be filling out nicely but the upper portion are making very slow progress in comparison. Currently do the following exercies for upper pecs: - Incline dumbell (~30-degree angle) - Incline barbell bench press (~30-degree angle) - Incline flyes (sometimes cable, sometimes dumbells) (~30-degree angle) Someone mentioned adjusting the bench angle to about 45-50 degrees, but I have always been under the pretense that the higher angle results in more deltoid activation?
  9. Nice! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the 33R is the most bang for buck at the moment. What about in terms of extracting engine performance compared to the 34? Mainly based around my goal of hitting ~400awkw with a stock looking engine bay? Because both
  10. LOL! Ahhhh, THAT "R34 GTR only meet" memory still lingers hahaha I'm asking mainly because I'm doing some research for my next project (for like, 2 years down the track LOL) and am considering either a R33 GTR or R34 GTR. Problem is, R34 owners still think selling a tidy 34R for almost the same price as a 2nd hand 35 is reasonable. Which has lead me to consider the R33 GTR as being the most bang for buck within the next 2 years. Basically looking to make a somewhat responsive ~400awkw on E85, using twin low mounts (either -5s or -10s, going by the research I've been doing) with a stock underbonnet look (EAD EPA!!). Have noticed ALOT of 34Rs hitting these figures (or close to) but not hearing too much about the 33Rs doing the same.
  11. Anybody know if there is any difference between the RB26 in a R33 GTR and a R34 GTR?
  12. Hahaha you're forever trolling Grant That looks schmick! Do it! It's got a real classy, yet OEM look to it
  13. Bummer! Looked great with the Varrstoens! What rims you looking at getting now? Concave or dish? Yeah, at that price you'd want it to be hahaha
  14. Sheesh, that's a bit rich! I'm guessing for that price, they're including all the bits needed to go from stock to 440rwkw (eg. extractors, cats, catback)? Having said that, my tuner managed to secure a really good deal from Harrop on the supercharger and fuel pump, cos he promotes and deals with a lot of Harrop equipment. Yep, loving it! But still wanting to get back into a RB though (R33 GTR) Noice! Didn't you already have the Varstoens/TE37s?
  15. Not yet mate I'm more interested in Powercrusie type of events, but you never know, I might just take it for a blast down the quarter jsut to see what it'll do (with a set of sticky tyres preferbally).
  16. Good question! Biggest killer will be traction, but I do have my eye on Powercrusie events What's new for the GS? We should get a photoshoot of the two cars together!
  17. Haha that's alright, I got achilles too Don't give me that look cos I skimped on tyres! The buck had to stop somwhere you know!
  18. For the charger, injectors, fuel pump, fitting + tune worked out to be about $12k. Camshaft, valve springs, pushrods etc. was about $3k.
  19. Yep, BBS LM reps. Can we race now? LOL
  20. Bags all 'round. Ended up going supercharger and happily sitting on 400rwkw @ 10psi with close to 1200N/m of torque
  21. In yo' face you twin-cam RB lovers!* *I really miss my RBs and want to get a skyline again so bad
  22. Noticed there hasn't been much talk on SAU about pushrods lately......... POW!! And my current favorite pic:
  23. Cheers for the input L33SH. Did you notice any loss of muscle/size when you were off creatine? Or was it mainly around the stomach area? Really? I found creatine to be quite helpful and have defiently noticed a big difference. I guess everyone's experience with it varies so all good
