  1. Altho Tracy and I have finished our studies/exams for the year, we've still got a pool and house extension to sort out ... no promises. We may or may not be there. Depends how many/who is going. Will Santa be there for the kids?
  2. Thats better ...
  3. I wanna get the Brutale out to stretch her legs too. Might be there also this Friday. Pete, I'm hoping to have the TLR sorted by next week. Big v-twins and race systems rock! ... for the record, my TLR has 125rwhp and smoooooth torque/power curves (and a dyno sheet somewhere from Lushies to prove it)
  4. More info http://www.topspeed.com/cars/toyota/2008-t...2/pictures.html
  5. What about this one?
  6. Sshhhhhhhhhhhh!
  7. Nice find. That sure is nice.
  8. OMG What a complete and utter backyard tosser. Hopefully the 2 pac contaminated his lungs and he's not breathing. As someone else said: If you're going to destroy something, cover all bases. Still reading it ...
  9. Yeah, from a proper butchers, not those crappy supermarkets. What's for dinner Nene? Wouldn't happen to be ..................
  10. Marinated lamb chop ... that sounds bloody nice Nene, shall I bring Raynie over tonite. Let the staffies kill each other
  11. No computer, but you're on here ... ... God?
  12. Then the authorities should then thrown them in jail. Auction off the cars to fund their jail term. No leniency. None of this current rubbish of "Oh gee, you caught us out bluffing. Here's ya licence back. Off you go you silly driver" If control on hoon driving isn't taken seriously, then the hoons won't take it seriously.
  13. I'm looking at a Type M front bar for the Stagea, seeing as I can't find a Dayz one in Australia for the new front lip. So I'll be selling a front lip, Apexi SAFC 2 Neo and Apexi SITC soon. Will never get the chance to fit them me thinks.
  14. Go on ... you know you want to
  15. I've actually seen one of those shows where the cops in NZ did actually crush cars. I'll see if there is a YouTube source somewhere. But I am sure most are auctioned off or returned when a hefty fine is paid. Yes you can. Its called jail. What we needed was the "H" hoon plates to be introduced. I'm all for it. Most dickheads would consider it a trophy, but if it had very strict conditions imposed on it, the authorities could make the punishment severe and really thin down the hoon population. Such as: any cars pulled over with H plates speeding is an instant loss of licence and car impounded (whether they own it or not), talking on mobile also means instant loss of licence and car impounded, pulled over in a car with mods or above the power restriction would mean car impounded and the driver's licence suspended. People caught driving whilst suspended should be banned from ever holding a licence for life. Keep driving, throw them in jail. If you were handling a firearm unlicenced, you'd be thrown in jail for that! Who here would like to be hit by a hoon in a car not his, uninsured and unlicensed?
  16. Hyundai + turbo = illegal = cancelled insurance = police prosecution etc etc. If they wanna risk it, then they can suffer the consequences. Its called fraud ... and there are some big penalties. Police breathos can assist in filtering young drivers in cars they are not allowed to be driving. If the police want to get serious on reducing the death toll, this would be a great place to start. Go straight to the source of the problem: young drivers + big cars. Same theory for motorcyclists. Whats to stop them riding a 600 or 1000 whilst on their Ls? Some do ... but all the one's I've heard of got caught. As a motorcycle community, we don't tolerate it. We've sent riders home because they've been riding a bike they cannot legally ride. Perhaps the car community could do the same thing, and let drivers know illegal behaviour is not tolerated. Oh wait a sec, some of us do ... but we've been criticised for doing so. Car drivers tolerate illegal activity, thats the problem. Shops sell goods they fully know are not for street use. There will be ways around things, but at least make it harder for the offender.
  17. Its kinda obvious: if you introduce a power restriction rule for L and P platers, then that would also rule out Skylines. Problem solved. The police also need to get strict with offenders. I love the NZ 3 strikes you're out rule. They catch you doing 3 offences, they impound your car on the spot. Keep doing it and you lose it for good and you get the bill for the crushing. So if you spin the wheels taking off from the lights, whilst talking on your mobile, and then speed off ... they nab you. A bit harsh? Not as harsh as killing an innocent person. My best friend was killed by a speeding driver who had been caught offending 4 times prior to that in the span of 2 months. Not once did they throw him in jail or stop him from driving. If they'd put him in jail or crushed his car, my friend would still be alive today.
  18. If they can do it to motorcyclists, why not to car drivers. On that note, I'm off to bed. Got a hot date with a blonde tomorrow
  19. Agreed. Good discussion. Let's keep it that way. On your comment, I'm sure there are many 45+ drivers who think that of young drivers. Its an argument that will never be settled, but the police will always address young hoon driving before they go after the ones who 'should know better'. There are bad drivers in all age groups, but its the young drivers making the news. Sure a 45 yo might hit you from behind from tailgating, but its the car load of teens wrapped around a tree that really shocks the community. I agree too that if drivers (of any age) re-sat their test, a majority will fail. Prob a good thing. Like the old lady I saw pull right out in front of peak traffic oblivious to the cars frantically getting out of the way. The coin has two sides in this thread.
  20. Main reason would be because its the media reporting it But I still agree the older more responsible import drivers should not be singled out. But after such a big story with the WRX crash, there will be a whole mix of opinions.
  21. Yeah, what he said ^^^
  22. Yeah but you gotta admit ... without fail. Keep it on topic Nene ... tsk tsk I woulda thought you guys would have been out last night ... or didn't you know Wendy? Nene, you're a perfect example of a young driver who doesn't want a car you can't handle! Whats you thoughts on the topic?
  23. Selling all that gear to buy an end can for the bike?
  24. Who wants to help me put up my pool on the weekend? I cbf doing it LOL. Plus I got to start erecting the house extension.
  25. Yeah don't worry about it Nene. We'll keep the topic constructive. EDIT: oops, I thought this was the MSN window
