  1. Nene ... get a tatt so you can join in! Who cares if Ben kills ya. Penny, need to do more to complement the tribal tatts down my arms. I wear sleeves at work, so I gotta balance between coverage and the design I want. I roll up my sleeves, so I gotta stop (say) 2" past elbows, but I'm going across shoulder blades (around the existing tatts on the blades) and stopping just before the neck. Center of spine will host the celtic cross in memory of a close friend who passed (she had a large influence on my life). Really can't wait to get inked again, but fitting tatts into the budget will be tight ... got a pool to install and house extension to do.
  2. I'm sure alot of guys love what you have done to ... erm anyway J/K I do like the theme you have picked ... different to the usual norm of skulls and dragons. I might drop by Matt @ Tattoo You Emporium tonite for a chat about the next installment
  3. Prob one of the smarter things to do. Just don't leave your bag at work Group buy for bear traps
  4. Even I have to ask ... Why?
  5. Weather is holding out, so I should be riding. I'll be there sometime after 7pm ... with my feeler gauges If you guys thing changing plugs on an RB20/25/26 is hard, try changing plugs on a sportsbike I gotta remove my tank, air box and radiator to get to my 2 plugs on the v-twin
  6. Tatts are a bit more involved than dot-to-dots ya big girl Come over and get drunk with us one night ... we'll fix your lack of artwork
  7. Then post up the pics dammit! Ditto, nice carp Penny. This is SAU Penny and it was bound to happen. Anyways, as she said ... Keep em coming!
  8. So people with tatts are emos? I've got enough scars and xrays to paint a pretty picture of my life ... but I still love the ink. Pain does not faze me ... there are worst things in life. All my tatts represent something big in my life and are my "trophies" for what made me who I am. The "fighting roo" represents my success at tournaments internationally The "racing roo" represents my love for bikes and racing them The "celtic Capricorn" represents my star sign The ying-yang design with the rats represents being born in the Year of the Rat Even my tribal tatts have fill (not solid) which represents things I've been through. None of my tatts are mere decorations Tatts to come: The hand prints and foot prints of my kid(s) A tatt of the terrain of Takanabe, Kyoshu precinct, to be the background (to blend in with existing tatts) representing when I lived, toured and trained in Japan An Isle of Wight celtic design representing the lost friend killed some year ago, and the trip I made to Europe to pay my respects.
  9. Amen. Make it as hard as you can for the thieving scum, not easier.
  10. Bored ... and I'm in the middle of designing the next ink work to go on me Post up pics of the tatts you got ... no posting of tatts you're thinking of getting or going to get. Pics of tatts on your skin only. Here's a pic of two of my tatts (all my tatts are my own designs): Celtic Capricorn My racing "roo" and fighting "roo" These were done at The Tattoo Gallery years ago. My latest batch have been done by Tattoo You Emporium These are crappy pics. I've got much more tatts, and I'll post 'em up when I take pics
  11. I agree. Gapping plugs is the easiest job on earth. However some people are not comfortable with doing it themselves until they've seen it done. Then they'll be kicking themselves because its so easy. You simply need feeler gauges. Head to Vilis tonite with tool kit. I'll bring my feeler gauges and show you how to do it.

  13. Stop humping the boss!
  14. So how did you know that?
  15. A day of fun, socialising Driving your car/bike at high speeds without risk of police encounter Driving at high speeds without risk of oncoming traffic Driving at high speeds without risk of hitting pedestrians, cyclists or street furniture Driving on a surface designed for high speeds Developing track skills and learning the limits of you and your car in such an environment No traffic lights, speed cameras, red light cameras Having an ambulance 30 seconds away in an emergency, not 30 minutes away! Its not the Government's responsibility to build us a track. We need schools, hospitals, better infrastructure ... and they're far higher up the list of needs and wants than a small car community who wants to go fast. Every other state may have one because some investors got together and built one.
  16. True. They'll argue: no fixed location for the plate, sharp edges exposed, etc etc, and if you've hacked your reo bar for a fmic you'll be in strife.
  17. Yeah, having no bar is a bigger reason for a defect than a damaged bar. Leave it on.
  18. Spotted silver Stagea at one of the squares in the city, also spotted a black 32 at the same square, lunchtime today.
  19. PM sent
  20. I am selling the s1 Stagea. Finishing fitting a new water pump and timing belt this weekend, so I can move it for the house extension. Will be fitting a stereo into it too. Its got a new O2 sensor, new water pump, new timing belt, serviced (oil/filter etc), 18" ROH rims, pod filter, swapped the 110K old turbo for a 34K old turbo. A nice clean stock stag. Its already been for the vehicle identity inspection, and will come with SA plates and 3 mths rego. I'll even get a shift kit installed depending on neg price. A mate was meant to be buying it, but I got sick of waiting after 3 months of promises. I'll also be selling the SAFC2 and SITC soon, as I'll never get around to fitting them, and I need splitfires more than anything. Hmm ... I'll post pics and move this topic to the For Sale section
  21. Finally added. I'm lazy with Facebook
  22. If you want me to get whatever info I can, PM me. It'll be only for info ... no contact with him will be made. I will not jeapordise your claim.
  23. If you want, PM the info you do have and I'll see what I can find out. But still continue with getting the cops back onto him, and get your insurer to start claiming again him. Did you have any witnesses? Those are real handy too.
  24. So you have the guy's phone number but a fake rego number? At the time of the accident did you obtain his licence to check? Anytime I have any incident whatsoever, I want to sight the licence, check its valid, and take photos of both vehicles ... as well as obtaining their phone number and rego number (off the rego label). The cops should be able to do more than just stop at the guy refusing to give details Get as much info as you can on this guy. Adelaide is a small place. Give whatever info you have on this guy to your insurer. Some years ago, I got knocked off my bike. The offender (P-plater in a commonwhore, no less) refused to speak with my insurer and police. He made a police report, yet gave a different story to the Ambos at the scene, and then again to his insurer. My insurer would not pay out the $18K for me to replace my bike, because this fool told his insurer a totally different story. Well, some months after the crash (when I could walk again), me and about 30 bikes turned up on his front lawn and we 'influenced' his decision to make things run smoothly. I got my claim. And he got his front yard excavated. Went to Court to sue the prick for injury and damages not fully covered by my insurance, and the Court awarded me the damages. He was arguing that I was 'racing' on the suburban road. The judge had no problem ruling in my favour because (a) the accident was 200m from my front door, so I wasn't racing in my own hood, (b) I had no traffic offences for the (then) 14 years of riding, so had a clean record, © he had lost his licence previously and had numerous traffic offences, and most importantly (d) all my reports and claims were consistent in its story. Who would you believe? Then he had to front Court with the police for make false claims/reports. He ended up losing his licence for 12 months for lying, and a further 6 months for the accident. The police personally called me to tell me they hauled him over hot coals.
  25. Thats awesome Daniel You gotta keep coming to any future cruises and show off them skills again.
