i thought the length was the same on the coupe to the GTR? but the flare of the qtrs means they dont match up?

carmate, DMD, psi parts will be selling fiberglass ones.. if you are after originals then nissan it is.. or find someone selling some off.. but for genuine plastic ones they won't be cheap ps post a pic of your car with the rear qtrs as there are lots on here who want to see that conversion done.. and what the cost was?

+1 for behind battery.. depending on the condition of your cover there is a table ontop the bx.. if you have the lights on while you were changing it then thats a big no-no..

i plan on taking my rego plates off the car so when i go through speed cameras, i shall no longer receive fines.. ps.. if you don't pull over they can't defect you

LOL no i actually found the rear easier than the front as its alot smaller area.. only prob is you feel a little craamped so bring front seat all the way forward and back part right forward too hardest part is the corner as the leatherette type material isnt strechy as the fabric..

i'll see if i can take some pics.. no need to soak in anything.. once you lift a bit of it the rest comes straight out.. and to get behind my controls i just tucked that bit in and the controls hold that piece tight

yeah i'm lazy and left em on.. it's a five min process really.. just rip off the original fabric.. use it to trace around on your new fabric (best is to trace on the back so no border is left, i used white so everything shows at front) then just apply the glue and stick away.. i used a small brush to carefully apply the glue in the fold and then a flat head screwdriver to insert new material down the fold.. then a cloth for any excess that may have come out from over zelous application of the glue

well they are around the corner from my work i'm in brissy.. the fitment was awesome.. i also got some front qtr panels from them and they required minimal fitment with no cutting or shaving required

yeah same in the back.. just rip out the trim and goes in the same way

also plenty of bodykits for GTT.. but yeah its possible but as mentioned above you need to change all front end

i think it would look wierd but couldnt you find a wrecked black one and take the cover off and put it on yours that way you can change back if you end up hating it.. would prob be cheaper then getting yours sprayed anyways

i re trimmed my doors in white.. fabric as stated above just rips out (some glue holding it on) and then i used vinyl flooring adhesive LOL and works a trick, never had problems and you just brush it on so doesnt get everywhere you don't want it to

yeah i reckon you might have a case.. ask them what happens if you tell them that this wasnt discussed and you would like the car back to how it was as you werent informed of this charge when you originally approved.. LOL or alternatively you can take a bit on your shoulders as you say its a better engine build, and you could tell them you'll pay like 2 months (or whatever your happy with) storage and they wear the cost as you werent informed.. this might settle both sides

i'd ring racq.. will cost but will give you a full analysis and if your paying to come over then it's def worth it for the cost of flying over to get a dud

yeah there is info on the screen in the "audio section" and i think it was running off the factory cd player.. the best man for the job is "Chris Rogers" search his username or you will find him lurking in the Audio & Security Section

p plater and turbo usually add to high premium already (compared to the standard car.. what you looking to pay for insurance? best bet is to ring and enqire about a standard gtst and see what figures they come up with before you buy so you know what you'll be up for..
