  1. something in a RB30 block...
  2. if you read in this thread it tells you what the rear drain/vent does. it also tells you you dont need to do it. cam breathers into intermediate tank, intermediate into main catch, drain to sump,(something like that)

  9. glad i said bolt to the engine the same then.. its not a big deal if you have all the parts, anything is going to require $$$ and a few mods

  11. jesus, if VL boxes are more expensive than RB25 boxes, why would anyone bother? more syncros in an RB25 box, both boxes need the yolk to suit therefore custom tailshaft also, as for bolting up, yes, they both bolt up to the engine the same. have a search on this site, will be covered lots of times and give you a wealth of knowledge

  20. ive pulled 3 out, one with the gearbox attached, took around 3 hours. have to take out the driver CV joint and it just likes to catch on the metal lines above it,prise it off. thats all! make sure you undo both nuts on the engine mounts (found this easier) i just undid the front pipes, had no issues with the turbos with dumps still connected.
