Yes this is so true, my freind had a pair of the reference spilts in his back parcel shelf and they just crumbled to bits after being left out in the sun. Ive got the the Kappa Perfects and iv had no problems with them at all. Rockford Fosgate make some nice subs even there base model Punch series are very clean and hard hitting bass. But require a pretty capable amp

U sure ur not refereing to blocking off the BOV, so it gets bypassed and all u get the 'fluttering' of the cooler? I tried that on mine, waste of time really, u loose all the responsiveness, and the tiny stocky cooler doesnt really sound 'fully sik'!

My Ex-System Alpine 9874RB 60Wx4 w/ digital time correction & MP3 6.5" Infinity Kappa Perfect Spilts (Front/Amped) 6" Alpine DDDrive mids (Rear/Runin off head unit) 2 x Alpine Type R 12" Subs DVC subs in 2 1/2 box 2 x Alpine T757 Amps (100x2 @ 4 ohms) Odessey 600CCA (i think) Battery Stinger terminals etc etc 1 amp is running the spilts and the other amp is briged running the subs

Yeah thats right. Might even get pretty close to that HICAS coomputer if you start cutting I had spilts up the front and 2 12"s in the boot...plenty of noise

6x9's wont go straight in. 6"-6.5" will fit fine.

Yeah thats a pretty good setup!. If you can stretch the budget a bit more, id go the alpine deck with the mp3 media expander and that has a least 4/6 channel digital time correction. Have a heard of Infinity? A Set of Infinity Reference 6.5" very nice pair of spilts in budget as well. I have a set of Infinty Kappa Perfects, set me back close to a grand, but very well worth it!

There are 2 adjustments. One to set off the warning tone and one to set off the real alarm. So u set the warning tone to really sensitive so just even a slight bump (or even a really cool dude with his drift wing kitted lancer and massive exhaust pumpin a whole 60Kw) to ur car a 3 beep warning tone will sound. Then u set the real alarm to go off at a more major impact. Not many car alarms have dual stage shock. Id say it be a worthy investment! I had it on my skyline but thats gone now . In time ill have a new 'line.

Get a Vision 1600. 2 pt Immob Black Wiring Back up battery siren 2 stage shock sensor ( so it wont be goin off all the time)
