You'll need to pull the whole unit apart, i remember this happened with my Soarer. I had to put it in the open to break the seals, you might as well do both at the same time, polish it and refurbish all the parts, should cost under $1oo, it just takes time. I can access the soarer guide to doing it if you wish, it might get you started.

Apparently, the one way to get it off is rip it off and use metho or something of the sort to carefully get the white shit off, i just left mine on there.

Hey, I just cut popped out the two spaces (fog lights and a blank) and cut in between the two with a hacksaw, then smoothed it a little with some sandpaper, not that you could of noticed if i didnt, and it slotted right in there, it's a tight fit, but that ensures it wont go anywhere. You don't even need to support it on the back, it just sits there, i can sit there and push buttons all day long and it goes nowhere. Goodluck. Dallas

I just spoke to the RTA who referred me to the Police hotline, who then put me through to a SGT of the Highway Patrol who was rather friendly and very well informed. What i've found out is that; I need not wear my P's if I don't feel the need, but we recommended I did so I don't get hassled if i'm pulled over. Intercoolers must have mush in front of them to be legal. Atmo Bov's arn't cool. I don't need to transfer my license or rego over to NSW. I can drive my turbo vehicle. Thanks for all your help guys. Well i have absolutley no badges on my R34, going to paint my fmic black i think. I'll have to ring the RTA and see how I go, but im pretty sure i'll just keep driving it anyway, luckily it's not a daily.

If that's the case, I'm on my P's. (Old P System) and I own and drive a turbo skyline, is this going to be a problem? I shouldn't have to sell or be unable to drive my car because of this..seeing as i had my license before the new rules were enforced in QLD. Can anyone shed any light on this? I also assume i'm going to actually have to wear P Plates, as they arn't mandatory in QLD.

Hi Guys, My names Dallas, I just moved down from Cairns in QLD, (going to join NSW club soon hopefully). I'm going to retain my QLD Rego & License while i'm living down here for a few years, might be an obvious question, but i'm not too sure. Can NSW police defect me and so fourth even though i'm running QLD Rego & License. Any help would be appreciated, hope to see you all out at one time or another anyhow. Cheers, Dallas

I've got the Just Jap Stealth intercooler on my R34 GTT. Fits up nicely and works very well, and i retained my standard airbox, which is important for retaining the standard look.

I just had my ECU re tuned and power upped to around 190rwkw, long story short, i did this in Brisbane and had to drive to Sydney the following day, so off I go and i notice the car is revving high (4 grand at 100km/h), further investigation finds that i no longer have fourth gear (1st, 2nd, 3rd all okay). Call up the workshop and apparentley it's the ECU, so it's getting redone down here (for free ) and hopefully should have 4th back. Just FYI, fuel economy dosen't exist from Brisbane To Sydney in 3rd gear, at all, lol. Next is stage 3 shift kit and 3 grand stall converter as the power will be going upwards to 260rwkw soon, so hopefully the auto will be fine with that amount of power. If anyone has experiences with the auto at those power levels please let me know. Dallas

Thanks Stan, It look me a long time to finally decide on a set of wheels, but i think my choice complimented the car. Factory colour too, the colour i always wanted, Dark Blue Pearl, i've yet to see it in the flesh on another R34, but i know there are some around. Dallas.
