Hey guys, I have ran a 10 in my gtr, and i have been told not to come back untill the car meets andra requirements. the thing that i am stuck on is the rollcage/halfcage, i am still undecided if i will weld a car in the car or not, as i use it almost everyday. I was just wondering does anyone have any pics of halfcages that have meet the andra requirements ? and if so could you post them up for me to see. Cheers Bobbo

  4. i cant run anymore because cars quicker than 10.99 require alot of safety gear, mainly a halfcage (the jap ones dont meet the standards set by andra) ballistic blanket external power shut off and just some other small stuff. cost of the car, i would rather not let out

Thanks guys, it was my very first pass aswell, felt like the car had more in it, as i hit rev limiter in 2 gears. but andra didnt let me race again but i am still very happy All the hard work with this car was done by Ant Scali and Danny Smith. i was the lucky one who ended up with the car. These two did an awsome job, built and tuned the car from the ground up in ants backyard. all the credit goes to them. times where 10.85 @ 128mph 1.74 60'

  10. that is a run between me and simon. i was running 1.2bar for that pass, and another so i could back up the time. normally i do a 12.1 at .95bar. simon did alot of research and with anthony guiding him in the right direction and building the whole thing from him , from engine to tune, u cant go wrong. as u said the result speak for themselves
  11. i got a stock gtr (ie filters, exhaust, twin plate, ebc, stock turbos) and simon out launches me, i can only manage a 1.7 60" with a 11.8 pass, and hes doing 1.6 60" checky bastard. i launch in between 6/7000 on the up rev, anything lower it just bogs down on a preped track.

  17. yeh its 25 as some have said from the best of my memory, he got, turbo all the lines oil/water, dump pipe, and a hks heat sheild. it runs on the stock manifold. and it was the kit purchased from nengun, personally i think you are better off buying the kit rather than the turbo itself, kits are made to work
  18. i think u will find there is an extra plug, that is where the map sensor harness plugs into the ecu, and 2 signal wires have to be wired into the afm signal wires in the harness.

  23. u cant say that there is a "best" tuner out there. i would say xspeed would be my choice for tuning this unit. www.xspeed.com.au thats where u can find the contact details.

  25. a mate of mine has a hks 2835 Pro S on his car and the think is awsome, makes decent power from 3500~4000rpm all the way to redline, leaves my gtr for dead rolling start, and i am doing mid 12's i think the Pro S is the way to go
