  1. Why not Ikeya or cusco etc gear over the PoweredByMax stuff? not the greatest gear you can get, especially when your list has some of the 'bigger' name brands on the go
  2. Can you add my paying for my cylinder head while you're at it?
  3. Na. No argument You win hands down
  4. I would have thought you'd be using AN10's not 8's..... Almost every cooler setup is a 10 lol
  5. LOL Dan, Rob isnt No one sucks like you Mr Lumberjack
  6. Guess who wont be getting a motor before me :whistling: :whistling:
  7. Dan, you should most definitely fit one of these to something http://www.bulletpro...ford%206.0l.htm http://performancetruckproducts.com/772441-5001s-garrett-powermax-turbo-04-07-6-0l and change the rear housing to be something decent at same time.... as Variable Nozzle Tech..............
  8. The one off Derek's ute!? LOL
  9. You're gunna be hatin' it if I get mine back before you LOL. It was getting the mains tensioned up and ready to start honing it all and I think painting etc today block had a bath yesterday.
  10. Then putting up with shitheads making ol' peter griffin photoshops and gtir's. I'm shocked Kat hasnt beaten you up yet!
  11. :woot:
  12. LOL
  13. What's wrong with it? 'new engine is best' is generally the easiest answer possible. especially from some workshops what's wrong with it? what have they said etc? or symptoms?
  14. As per text mate. Am happy to see if i can find anything else that may have been added since yourself / Sean had a look. At least they are bringing out new "features" on same hardware!
  15. Quick voltage vs rpm for ign. dwell. Obviously not as detailed down to every ~125rpm or there abouts as some ecu's can do but it's still able to do same basis. I should probably have gone a bit further than using single axis of RPM and moved into the full map to cover more values. edit - stupid me not attaching. fixed.
  16. Dan, thanks for your reply about the CAS... That helps answer the question big time! Also, I have just loaded up the haltech software on my work pc, coil dwell time can be set between 0.2ms right up to 20ms. .... This is 'tested' on Version 1.11.1 of ECU Manager. I know they are constantly adding new things to the software + ecu's with each update.... so it may have not always been in there. Standard dwell on left, max on right for illustration purposes. Using a R32 / R33 Platinum Pro base map to work off
  17. http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-page/fuel-pumps/11107-billet-hex-drive-fuel-pump/ That or the "atomic' fuel pump they do I reckon. Awesome! Hopefully it holds togeher, even for 1 or 2 runs as that's all you need for the record!
  18. To be honest rebuildable etc would be a nice thing to have CAS wise. But im more curious about the wavelength comparison. A guy in UK on a post a good 8 years or so old has mentioned his 32 came on and revved harder / faster with 34 cas. Congrats Callan!!!!!!!!!!! about time, now to store all those cam caps away
  19. What are you going to do for box though? PPG has the inherent issue of going BANG trust 6 speed dog? Problem is getting your power down without going lib or holinger. Jealous of your spendings! Are you going the hex / cam drive aeromotive item?
  20. Yeah moe or whatever his name is and C&V run the cima box with internals done i think plus gtr transfer Go for gold! Hope you guys get it! "SAVE THE MANUALS"
  21. The bloke who screws together Godzilla's engines knows what hes doing
  22. the stock narrow bands on a gtr? Should be fine to put back in, they only go through a certain range of the maps until it goes to closed loop.
  23. Yeah they keyway is different, cams can be modified to take either without issue apparently, but would still just order one for a 34... It's just the nitty gritty of them ecu side that I wanna know about really. crank trigger may happen one day..... cheers for the input anyway! when are you getting a lib box?
  24. For direct plugin ecu's with no loom extensions etc, link (vipec) and haltech are leading the charge. And with the latest update haltech plat pro for gtr's etc is able to do fuel composition correction with the sensor wired.
  25. The E's werent that great and had their share of issues as you're aware The new platinum range bith sport and pro are getting some awesome results and coverage on a whole host of cars. Plus pretty sure software is much nicer now! (unless youve seen it)
