Yeah, thanks Chook. Saw that for the end, just wasn't sure on the inner (48521-23u25)

Does anyone know if all r33s have the same tie rods.
I'm after some for the Wagon (25txfour) and Fast tells me the part no. is 48521-23U25 (code:49521KA) which is the same as some r33 and 34s (it lists the N/A skylines)
So not sure what I should ask for trying to source locally.
Any help would be appreciated
cheers

I have the stereo control on my 25t xfour (which seems to be rare enough in Aus)

part no: 43222-50J00
Nissan will have them for about $2 each

R33 Series 2 GTS4 4WD Gearbox will fit stageas as well as any other running 4wd gear including GTRs. 114,000kms in good working condition, however 4th started to slightly crunch after I had oil changed too thin, needs thicker oil and should be ok.
$390.
I take it theres no transfer case with the gearbox?

I thought that might be the case, I was reading something that said there was a protection as such on the ipod dock connector. Something to do with only "authorised" products being able to be hooked up to access content.
However, the way around this is rumoured to be achievable by running a usb from the camera hook up kit, i think the iPad needs to be jail broken though to get full usb functionality.
Time will tell, I'm sure someone will come up with a trendy kit that will be m35 Stagea compatible
Jailbreak
I can display gps from my iphone on the xanavi screen in my S2

Hi everyone,
New kid on the block here. I just bought a '99 Stagea RS4S just over a week ago and have a question about the clock on the xanavi touch screen.
I found a thread but there was no conclusive answer on how to change the clock. At the moment it's 1 hour behind. From what I can see the clock only shows the time at the top-right hand corner when I'm listening to a CD, but I haven't been able to find any settings relating to the clock.
Any help appreciated,
Matt
not sure but you can get into the service menu by holding down the top of the four buttons on the left, and the button next to the tv button (gps) for about 10 sec.
From there I can't read Japanese so I'm stuck.

I would have a look at MS180's Autech - its every bit the same as factory - started off with a C34 shell and put all the Autech bits from a genuine Autech.
+1
From what I've read, the Autech shell had rust the car couldn't be complied so he switched everything to a local shell.
If your shopping for a C34 and not far, check this car out first.

I use the two Meguiars ones and it works great.

coathanger + tape
find the grommit inside the cabin (drivers side above to right of the throttle pedal) and poke the coathanger through the grommit and up into the engine bay. You will eventually see the end of the coathanger and then it is a simple case of taping vaccum line and pulling it back through the grommit.
You should be able to do it without removing anything from the car.
+1
thanks wolverine.
I just did mine without removing the inner guard, absolutely no need.

hi guys, i just bought a 99model Stagea, and the both headlight in the front very yellow and still have water inside, the water is been inside there for a while, couldn't get dry or clean, what should i d or fix the problem? should i buy another pair of headlight or just get someone to clean it ?anyone know how to do it or where i can get someone to do it? i am from Melbourne .
get the water out, put some sealer around the join (silastic) use plastic polish on the lights, they come up really well

As above really.
Front Tein superstreets coilovers for BNR32. Will they fit a 1999 S2 Stagea RS4V. They look the same as R33GTR ones to me except 5kg springs instead of 4kg on the 33gtr.
Any ideas please ?
Yes, I have 32 shocks in the front of mine

The rates for the coils I just won (woohoo!!) are 7k front, 6k rear.
Link for the coils on Import Monster:
Hey Hanso, as Ryan said above. You need fork type mounts for the rears of your car. The ones in the pic are eye mounts.

See my thread re starter problems but if its cranking but slowly then it won't be that.
Try a jump start from another car to get you going.
Starter on the way out will draw excessive current ...so you need to test the battery condition, alternator output and starter draw - so that probably means a visit to an auto electrician.
Thanks Bob, went out this morning and shorted it across the solenoid. turned but slowly.
Managed to give the starter a few good hits and it started, so now have to find an auto electrician in Port Macquarie that will fit a starter tomorrow

On holidays, jumped in the car this arvo and car wont start. Cranked a little at first then nothing.
Reds come on then nothing when I try and turn it over.
I can here the fuel pump prime.
I cant here any click from the solonoid and its a little hard to get to in the dark to try shorting it.
there have been a couple of times in the last week when it seemed slow to crank over, I tried to jump it but no go.
