I've been told the head is torqued down in 5 stages. 1. 22ftlbs 2. 72ftlbs 3. slacken off 4. 22ftlbs 5. 75ftlbs if using ARP Moly lube or 85 if using oil 2. we pulled the front of the turbo off and the wheel is fine and rotates well but havnt checked the back yet

I own a 96 r33 and was wondering the pros and cons of having it twin turbo and can it be done and weather or not it is possible, what are your views?????

thanks very much for the advice, i have checked the coolant and it is looking good and full, we have done a compression test and it is achieving 110/125 for each which is good but we have speculation that the turbo rear oil seal maybe gone so it could mean replace turbo because of lack of power and oil into the exhaust creating the white smoke. by the way the spark plugs are in good condition not fouled, looking pretty new. what do you think?

Im writing this thread because i have noticed more and more skyline drivers are wankers, im not talking about everyone, but do you ever notice car enthusiests all the fords/vintage drivers all wave to each other and admire everyones car all that kinda stuff. we should do the same!! i own a 96 r33 and some other skyline drivers i see whilst driving just wanna race you and are arrogant, it really puts the image on us as a typical hoon so to speak! So I wanna know what you all think?

I have an 96 r33gtst and it is blowing heaps of white smoke. I have checked other posts and they seem different, i had 3/4 of a tank of fuel and in under 25km the tank was empty, the oil was full, same thing oil gauge droped to empty. the car has absolutly no power and struggles to take off and runs like a piece of shit, the white smoke when started blows alot and when i drive its still there but not as bad as the start. can anyone help me with this problem??

hey mate, what you need to do is lift the cd player up so that the gap is down the bottom there maybe some brackets there from the stocko one if not you can make em, its not that difficult and get a pocket from strathfield or the likes of those car audio places which cost like 16 bucks. the stereo will sit on it and you may need a thin layer of foam paper or sumthing round those lines and thats pretty much it.
