  1. Trying to pay mortgage on one wage at moment so budget isn't looking good for injectors. Has anyone got sum of that metal paste stuff I can steal so I don't have to buy a $50 tin of it?

  3. Ild be happy with 270 to 280 if that's about all that turbo can make I'm just Gona run it at what Eva the injectors can handle for now untill I get more coin. The exhaust and other bits are Gina send me broke for a while

  5. cars got 200wkw now with fmic pod no rear muffler and nistune set at 14 psi (droping to 9) want to get 250wkw with new turbo $1600 fuel pump $150 afm $200 exhaust$800 if injectors can handle it il do them later and what ever else to get 300wkw
  6. i no its not that one i need but morrie at from that place says he has the one for rbs and the oil n water lines arnt much of a hassle. and im doin the exuast to suit so that doesnt matter. i was gona get him to fit it so he can deal with it but now i have the motor striped down i was gona do it myself and just give it to him to tune. i want to spend about $1600 to $1800max just on turbo. if yas wana thro ya sugestions down go for it. just remember lag doesnt bother me, so must be in the 30s

  8. Picking one up on way home tonight. $3.00 from grand Nissan. Can't test it untill I get new turbo on now
  9. oah i thought it was part of crank cause instead of having a slot in the crank where that key bit would go i now have a bit of a hole. ill clean it up tomoz order the part from work and see if i can get away with it. whats the worst that could happen
  10. now thats what i want to hear. so is the key part seprate from the crank? il have to have a good look tomoz. i just finished removing my turbo ready for the 3076 to go in.

  12. i was thinkn of tryn to weld it on but i dont think it would be possible to do with the bolt in the way. and without the bolt in it might not be on straight. duno ill have to ring around tomoz. might just pul the turbo off untill i find out more
  13. hmmmmmmmm so dont wana replace the crank but think i have to. to do it myself or not to do it myself? im gona pull the motor our and put new turbo on. just not feeling confident about doin bottom end work. ive done a bottom end rebuild on a twin cam isuzu in a gemini. but that was a gemini.
  14. thats so gay i just got the car back on the road a few weeks ago and was hangn for this cruise thats cumn up. i might start pulling the engine out then. dont think ill be doin an rb30 bottom end as much as i would like to. ill prob have to redraw on mortgage and fix crank put a 3076 on it while the motor is out and go from there. so devo right now
  15. well they crank pully had the slightst bit of play in it and has now stript the key off the crank. im in the shit now arnt i where to go from here dont tell me i need a new crank. is there any way to repair this.
  16. ive done a timing belt on one before and no how hard they are to get off. ive had quick feel and it seems quite tight. im gonna start stripping the belts off and other shit in my way take it off and have a good look.
  17. As it says WTF I started my car up thismorning and heard sum noises from the engine so I turned it off and popt the bonnet. I started it again to diagnose problem and thought my clutch fan was stuft coz it wasn't moving and then I noticed the crank wasn't turning. WTF it doesn't make any sence to me. How can my engine run fine? With this problem? Anyone? Isn't it imposible for the crank pully to slip? Ahhhhh help?

  21. juat a cheap manual t valve that the guy who sold it to me swears by are good. but im gona have to try anotherone and see how it goes. i dont think the boost came on as hard but hard to tell i dont wana thrash it without seeing how much psi im runnin anyone got a cheap boost guage for sale?
  22. ok just cut and blocked the pipe runing to the boost cut thing and took the car for a quick drive. it has got rid of the problem but now the car comes on boost a bit later i think. its hard to tell i need to go for a decent drive were i can open it up propelly. i really want to get a proper boost guage aswell the stock one is f**kn stupid!! oah and so doesnt anyone think my stock bov is the problem for me loosing 5 psi of boost through the run? i wonder if the wastegate needs lookt at the cars got 170k on it now? 2 months and i should be able to get my3076 i just want this bloody car to run right for once, but im not goin back to stock now!
  23. sweet as cheers m8. il do it as soon as i can get it on the rollers and invest in a boost guage i think. i dont wana be pushn 14 15 psi on stock turbo for long. and yeah it makes sense that its been hapening more when its been fkn cold
  24. cheers for the info il drop into the tuners on way home tomoz and have a chat to him bout it and sort it out. yeah definetly not a misfire and ive gone over the afm. i might try blocking the stock BOV and see if that sorts the boost problem. if so ill probably just run 12 psi and see if it still makes 200kw disconnect the boost sensor per lilcrash and block off the vaccum line ???????
