A big thanks to everyone involved in organising it. The day went extremely smoothly and just goes to show how well organised SAU is. I was extremely thrilled with the way the SS went.. My best of a 1:15.1 hand timed still puts a smile on face Can't wait for the next one...

Hmmm...Dare I buy into this one? lol Call me bias if you like...but I think they will be one hell of a motor vehicle..But pricey if you ask me, but to some people money is just no option, plus it will be a collectors car.. And yeah, my SS is a 4 door family car (i only need a family now..lol), and has plenty of grunt at the rear wheels to have some (legal) fun..

Not going to assume too much at the moment.. Took it for a tune and OTRCAI and straight away it wouldn't pull 238 like last time..Its refusing to go past 224, and revline has dropped 4-500rpm..So what have i changed since last dyno run?fuel and tyres. Could this be whats wrong? Maybe and a big possibility. But, it may also be valve springs. Hoping to have it back at the mechanic saturday week for a new dyno run after i get rid of the Vpower and fill it up with what i used last time and will put the old tyres back on..Failing that, valve sprins will be checked and replaced with either 918's or 921's the same day or shortly after... So if anyone wants a lift anywhere this weekend call me, and I will be your taxi service Need to go through lots of fuel...

Its now a race against time to have the SS running properly for Wakefield. Otherwise I may be on the sidelines watching... Something is a miss, but have crossed all fingers and toes and hope it gets fixed within the next week or 2....

Yes, speeding is speeding, and we have all done it at some time or another. But there is a difference between 5 over the limit, and lets say this guy was on a freeeway, in a 110 zone, thats 153kph over the limt..Big difference... Yes there is a difference between someone being killed and some doing 263kph. I am was not actually have a sob story about this. By reading some of these threads, it seems as though japanese imports and commodores (judging by Holden forums and newspaper articles) seem to be the most wanted by police. I would assume that you get a few people that spoil it for all the commonsense people. But its all good, as long as you behave then you won't end up in the paper. And thats one of the main reasons why i joined SAU. Because they organise trackdays. A legal way to get the speed out of your system.

For starters, let me label this human, if thats what you can call him, an absolute lunatic. There is absolutely no reason why you would do that kinda speed on a public road. You endanger yourself and others. Secondly, I thought it was mainly us Commodore "hoons" that got labelled in the paper. Cause thats always what it seems to be. You get a couple of Commodore drivers that think they have V8 Supercars, and we all get labelled as hoons..

I was actually surprised with the fuel price last night. Mobil in Epping was selling Unleaded for 1.37L..Cheap. I still went to pennant hills though and put V Power in my SS. For some reason, it justs likes V Power better. Either way, V Power is back..Woo hoo...
