  1. hahaha +1, he's the biggest tripper
  2. Not really cause then you hang a shit after and are getting paid for it
  3. When you build a drift car you kinda expect something like that to happen though, it's not a case of 'oh noez I broke my pride and joy' it's more like 'now how can I go that hard WITHOUT bending the car' I'm speaking from experience too
  4. also, I swear the page keeps scrolling up to post #150 by itself
  5. Interested in seein pics of these, although for $20 as long as they hold air you can't go wrong
  6. Bullshit, all you need in an S13 is a set of coils, a mech diff and a race seat and you can bust fat skids all day long if you know how to steer. F*ck look at my shit heap, it's got half assed sus and a stock viscous diff and I can still chuck it around in 3rd and link shit. If you're spending bulk cash on an S13 and still having trouble you need more practice
  7. I was chattin to the bloke who built your car (I'm guessin you bought Tuffy's sileighty yeah?) and he reckons 2nd to 3rd with a Z32 box is a massive jump, like it drops way too many revs and leaves 3rd fked. Not sure if it'll help in your car as much as mine but I found snapping 3rd mid slide is easiest done just after a transition. Like flick it a bit harder than you think you should then use the momentum of the car to give you a bit more time to slot 3rd properly. keen as fk for skids on the 24th
  8. Like a heap of shit Still drives ok though so should hopefully still be heaps easy to skid. Wanna chuck my lock spacers in before then cause I was running out of lock bad last time.
  9. fucking win shit, I am so down for that.
  10. private day? I got my heap of shit fixed up over the weekend and I'm damn keen for a skid
  11. ??? where is this? Next prac I read on the lala website is like mid august
  12. Some help required lads, my sis tried to connect to the net the other day only to have firefox chuck up a message that it was configured to use a proxy server that was not allowing connections or some jazz. I went into internet options and selected 'auto-detect proxy setting for this network' so i can go on the net, just wondering if I should leave it on that or will it be (more) vulnerable to attacks/people fking with my pc, or could that even be the case as to why the error came up in the first place?
  13. so today it went from this to this in a few hours. Only tools used were a sledgehammer, a few bits of wood and a scissor jack Front also looks much better now too, rad support is getting there just need to move the whole thing about an inch toward the drivers side. I've got all the parts to replace what was damaged in the stack and it's only cost me $100 hahaha. Stoked as
  14. Yeah feel sorry for the bloke with the DR. Smashin a 180 is like 'oh well guess I'll grab some parts off NS and it'll be done in a week or 2', tryin to find bits for a DR would be like 'FUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK'
  15. didn't think to take pics at the pub, although they probably would've been the funniest pics I've got it home now so gonna take some in daylight tomoz
  16. drove (limped) it to the pub in mallala, the reactions from the locals was f**king funny, rolling up in some smashed 180 with the thing barely idling with shit draggin on the ground got it towed to my aunt's then towed it home myself with a mates car just before. ghetto repairs to commence soonish
  17. I didn't think my 180 had enough panel damage so put it into the wall for everyone's enjoyment will fix it when I cbf and do more skids, only real damage is rad and cooler core (apart from panel work) so shouldn't be much to get it back to it's former glory
  18. ^ probably fairly south of the border, I had 17 x 9 +20 with a 225/45 and it was nice and flush with stockish guards and 3.5 camber all round. Would prob need a bit of a massage if you want flush. I think you should just go hard in the orange one, bugger a trackie.
  19. I'm likin the VIP style. Lets face it the thing isn't gonna be fast (thats what the EVO and 34 are for ) so why not bling it up a bit? If you don't mind spending up, Fabulous do wheels ('Profound' I think is the rim style) in pretty much any size/offset you could ever want.
  20. No one was there at all poked my head in the workshop and couldn't see anyone so just cruised, didn't really have any urgent business anyway
  21. There was a pretty clean 2dr there too, much love for the 31 coupes aye.
  22. Nah. Deej. Surprisingly had no trouble getting back into the groove. After 7 months I was expecting to be super shit but hit up a few corners in the dry and it all came flooding back. Throw in some rain and its linking corners in 3rd This is how it looked before I really got into skidding it
  23. ^ thats the same with my loan, the fixed interest one anyway. Also seen your trackie at Garage 7 today Craig, looks tough as a badly cooked steak with the wheels spaced out.
