Just get some off the Yahoo Auctions ex japan. Theres sets on there that go for around $200 aussie, send em via EMS and you have a set of GTR rims for around $500 and you shouldn't have to wait more than a week or so.

I've come good now that I've had some food was feeling like absolute arse before though 2 hrs sleep in the last 36 hrs = bulk tired.

Spotted Dan (Inline 6) at swish And also saw Vambex a couple of times the other day, and a Hummer with rediculously large wheels on it. Finally, saw a silver 34 4dr going up the freeway at like quarter to 6 this morning.

If you want I could bring it to work tuesday evening. I work at the cas. drunken posting is fun as, don't know why but it just is. Thos replies being ABOVE the quotes are for you craig LOL Man my fkn head hurts, I just got home from town
-
Yeah the low/mid range on them is fking awesome, I could floor it in second in the wet and it'd hit full boost at 2500 revs and just crab down the road. All it had was soft as Tein Type NAs, Cusco sway bars, cooler, exhaust, brutal Cusco clutch and a massive alloy rad. Some of the pro SA drift guys passengered with me for a few laps at the drift school and they couldn't believe how much torque it had. Around the back hairpin I'd be feathering it in 2nd with the speedo reading about 40-50ish (maybe 3000 rpm) then squeeze the throttle on the exit and the needle would swing out to 120 like it's nothing. Aussie ended up swapping the 81 and cressy for it he liked it that much
-
Because I am a f**king idiot No seriously, get one. Nothing will seem as good any more (hence why I have absolutely no problem throwing the 32 into a cliff, it's only skyline junk to me) I'd get another one but I'm trying to slow down spending on cars (modding them is pretty exxy).
-
^ sweet, cheers for that info mate. I was originally trying to find a car that had a front lip similar in shape to the stock bar, then found the 32 came with one anyway Might have a gander at these Accord lips, as I sorta wanted the lip to stick out forwards a bit, which the stock 32 lip doesn't do at all Do you know the model year range or chassis code of the ones that'd fit best?
-
Drilled holes through the lip/bar and used nuts and bolts so it's held together a little better than just screws, but can still be taken off.
-
Yidz: Yeah it does sit pretty low which is the main reason I like having the ability to remove it if needed. In the first pic, my driveway slopes down on like a 45* angle, and the bit under the car port is flat, which is why it looks so low to the ground (and which is why I'm only halfway into the carport, any more and the lip goes bye bye as it was only cable tied on at that stage ) GTS4WD: This was one of the motorised lips, until I messed with it And nah they aren't front runners from the drags in the top pic, it's because the stockies have poo offset combined with 3* of camber from Nismo top arms, they sit wayyyy into the guards

^ Well if it was me I quite like the DNA 01s as you get concave spokes and dish (win win ), but of your choices I reckon the DNA 02s look the best (probably because I like XT7s and these look very similar ). Having said that, the DTMs do look okay, and you can't really argue with the price Powdercoat em white like your Drifteks and you're onto a winner I reckon.
-
I reckon it is as you can see it doesn't quite match up to the shape of the GTS bar. I tracked down one of those auto spoilers and fitted it up. It took some modification to fit how I wanted it, as it's not a 100% match to the shape of the bar. I cut a few V's in the plastic so it could be bent into a more angular shape and matched to curves in the bar. Heres what I ended up with: And painted: The paint match isn't quite 100% but I don't really care. I wouldn't mind seeing how it look bogged up to the bar so it looks moulded in, but I like having the ability to take it off if I wanted.
-
Yeah? Learn something new everyday I've only even seen em in poo offsets like +35
-
Origins I reckon. The DTMs come in poo sizes and the CRkais are fairly common. I'd go with the other style of Origins (DNA 01) though, as the ones you posted look heaps similar to Work Emo XT7s. Make sure you get the 9.5 +15s though These

If you really want to skid it and not just a passing fancy, jump on the Aus spec R31 bandwagon and don't look back. S13 front sus, locked diff and away you go. If you want something thats actually nice but still cheap, I'd go NA 33 and if you are cashed, NA Supra. If you want something NA and fast, get a V8 falcon or commy. Big cam, good free flowing exhaust, some head work and either a big carby or a good EFI system and it should be quick enough to give you a scare or 2.

WOO WOO My tax return just dropped in my account today along with a larger than normal pay cheque because I worked a few more shifts than usual HEEEELLLLLLLOOOOOO money Now I've just gotta resist the urge to go and buy more rims or buy an Xbox/PS3 or something useless like that

Series 2 look ever so slightly different, in that they have reflectors in the middle of the hotplate bits and a horizontal crease line that lines up with the bottom of the boot/top of rear bar. I reckon they look a little nicer then the earlier tail lights. I forgot to mention before, my SSRs rocked up too 16 x 8 +20. Fitted on the front with a 20mm spacer to clear the brakes should look pretty tough, but I'll do that when the 16 x 9 +16s I just bought arrive. Until then they are rears (will use aformentioned 20 mm spacer on the front with my 16 x 8 +38 Watanabes) I've also come across some Fabulous (brand) rims available in 16inch with widths up to 10j and offsets that go right down to -31 If the 9j I've just bought fit well on the front, I'll go 10j +12 on the rear
-
I hear that :laughing-smiley-014:
-
tail lights sourced - minty fresh series 2 items for $65 each thank you very much Also grabbed some alloy cradle lock spacers and steering lock spacers. Solid cradle and more lock shall be FTW when I get around to fitting them Will take a heat gun to the bar later on and see if I can get it back to normal shape (or close enough to) Getting there
-
FS 3in front pipe, I believe is a Blitz item - $80 2x stock R32 dump pipes - $20 ea 1x stock R32 cat, not bashed out - $50
-
WOO WOO exhaust is fixed with a Blitz Nur Spec :D with the silencer in, it's fkn quiet as a mouse. No more waking the neighbours when I get home from work at like 3 - 4 in the morning Reo is a wee bit closer to being aligned too, little more bashing to be done
-
Yeah, as much as I don't care for the olympics, I did get goosebumps watching it Rain stayed away for a bit, and the 32 now has a new exhaust (which is bloody quiet, so the neighbours will love it ) and the reo is a little bit closer to being aligned properly I am also now minus 1 (one) cressida, and have gained a large wad of folding currency :) I also haven't slept since about this time yesterday, so time for a nap methinks Only 4 hours though, then I have to get ready to go to work
-
FKN PISS OFF RAIN Kinda hard to do anything constructive in this bullshit weather
-
I think you need to look at these pics again. That does look quite cool, and like you said imagine the fuel saving
-
^ were you watching the opening ceremony when you posted that? I was watching that in the lounge at work, couldn't really work out what was going on. Those guards that took the olympic flag looked funny as when they were walking, hella robot style getting home from work @ 5:30 am = massive loose
