  1. I went an took a few more pics today, as tomorrow she goes in to get some shit done (cradle bushes and lock spacers) and I'm putting the stockies back on and raising it to a ridiculous height so I can cruise around without fear of getting done
  2. Saw some black or dark coloured 32 going through Lenswood just now, clutched in and showed some limiter love as he cruised past me parked in the main street
  3. I read it and smiled. I love not having a Facebook profile, Myspace or MSN or any bullshit like that
  4. ^ I got one of those waterless car wash kits, bloody good. Problem is now I don't have any car worth washing it goes unused
  5. ^ I reckon I've spotted your stag around. I seem to recall seeing a silver S2 with a similar kit in the hills area (I live in Nairne so I'm in the hills often)
  6. Hmmm I do need something to do tomorrow to make use of the night off work, might wander down and say g'day.
  7. You went from wanting a JZX100 to a 31? Well, I can't say anything I have a soft spot for 31 coupes as well, gotta love teh shoebox on wheels But seriously dude get a 100.
  8. I quite like these STis, moreso than the older models. The new hatchback thing is just wack though, I still haven't seen one that looks remotely good.
  9. Spotted a silver stag with a Jazmac sticker on the back window on the freeway at about 5ish, and a black Onevia rocking a mad stance on Greenhill road just after the KFC. Also saw heaps of 34 4drs go past work on North Terrace during the night, notable mentions were a black one with bronze rims ('Nightcrawler' on here probably) and a silver one with a GTR front bar.
  10. ^ Yeah I had to pick up and drop off some VIPs there and waiting outside for them you could hear the roar inside the stadium, even the atmosphere outside was awesome.
  11. Already sold man
  12. Yeah I took it off after I went for a short drive and had to try and avoid those little reflective thingys for fear of ripping it off Got a short vid of it cruising along with the lip and all and fk me it looks sooo tough (also got a vid of me busting a quick handbrake U turn in the main street, and it looked fking cool doing that too )
  13. ^ thats my mum dude I was going to let her drive it before I put the lip on, then I realised just how low it sat n thought the better of that idea *edit* And nah I still don't really care for Nissans, I just reckon I've made this one look ghetto fabulous :D
  14. I have highlighted the key word in your sentence there Dave Nah that is still the plan, but since the rears rocked up I thought why the hell not? I went for a little slide drive with it like that but it was scraping on fking everything (understandably) so I took the lip off for now
  15. I like this car again
  16. Okay, it's been a long time coming (you get that with sea mail) but finally, the wheel set up is complete. For the technically minded, the specs are as follows: Front 16 x 8j +20 (with a 20mm spacer effecting an offset of 0) running a 205/45 tyre with ~3.5 * camber Rear 16 x 9j +13 running a 205/50 with ~3* camber. Now on the interesting bit... PICS
  17. Not the first time it's happened. Coppers and car theives alike are known to suss here and NS and similar forums for info on cars that may be of interest to them
  18. Are they Brentons old meshies? Specs sound similar. Look like they sit pretty mint, full body shots needed (in daylight) though Random as
  19. I'm glad someone here has an idea. As for the actual show, does anyone else think they got the driving discipline arse-about? Like they thrashed the crap out of the soft-roaders, that old bloke airing the Rav quite considerably, and the short one trying to bust a fatty scando in the X Trail, then they took it easy in the 911, cruising around some back road in Tassie with plenty of out-of-focus shots, some engine note cuts and very little interesting driving sequences (although I'll give them props for the nice little explanation on the PDK system). I'm hoping they get their shit sorted for the next ep, and we see less attempted tomfoolery in 4WDs and more statics and powerslides in stomper V8s (you can't tell me no one loves seeing the UK boys dropping skids in their high end machinery, thats half the attraction of Top Gear ) I'm also hoping to see less hamfisted acting and some actual automotive passion. Clarkson, Hammond and May seem to genuinely enjoy what they do, and it shows in their on-screen persona (and the aforementioned driving 'style' of the UK show ). The 3 blokes in the Aussie one seem to have been told to mimic that, and it all came across as acted up rather than genuine passion for what they were doing. Another few bones of contention for me was lack of actual 'testing' as such and the seeming assumption that everyone who will watch Aussie Top Gear would have seen the UK version at some stage. I'm still waiting for a conclusion as to which soft roader performed the best through the conditions, and then theres the Lambo/Maybach/Moke stories that just didn't seem to have any basis what so ever. New Lambo? Fking awesome looking rig yes, why not drive it to show whats new/imporoved about it? Nah won't do that. The Maybach, most expensive car in the world or something. He sat in the back for about 5 minutes, showed us some headphones then that was pretty much it. The Moke 'experiment'? Yeah still trying to find a point to that one. And finally, if you'd never seen a Top Gear ep before, would you have any idea what The Stig means to the show? Oh some dude in a white suit is driving the car now? And the aforementioned over acting is somewhat understandable when you know what they are trying to replicate, but if you've never seen Clarkson and Co doing their thing before you'd be forgiven for thinking they took some pingers before filming. Having said all that, I'm going to give it a chance, but I reckon they've got to forge their own way of presenting the show otherwise it's probably not looking good for a second season..
  20. That party end up being any good? Mine was pretty meh. Was occupied half the night with a gorgeous little 16 y/o bird but missed a few of my mates rocking up Went and did the rounds saying g'day to everyone who rocked up in that time then left to stay at a chick friends house. No hangover or come down = win though. Now off to work
  21. ah ok. The Palmer one is a friends 18th, supposed to be around 150 people rocking up
  22. ^ oi tim you heard anything about a massive party in Palmer tonight?
  23. Yeah I kinda lol'd at that. Organise a fatty cruise then not rock up
  24. Spotted some drunkard stack his/her car into a couple of other parked cars in Loby last night. Looked pretty bad, hope they had insurance.
  25. Spotted GTGeorge in the GTR on Nth Terrace pretty much dead on 7 last night, and I drove a matte black 34 a few times at work.
