  1. OK I'm a bit late with these but meh LOL elaborate for funnies? The cheapest FOB price I saw was a happy meal under 5.5k, then you've got another 5grand before it's in the country ready for rego. AE86s are NOT what you are looking for if you want a cheap RWD thrasher I'll have a squizz for 33 4dr guards and see what comes up
  2. Hmmmm need money 50mm wide body rears for a 32 4dr Would look fking ace with some GTR front guards & bar.
  3. Can't see myself getting around to fitting this up, as I'm going for a stock look now, so might as well get rid of it. Supermade R32 boot spoiler. Currently painted white, suits 2dr and 4dr, perfect condish (only just been sat on my boot for pics) Looking for $300. Pretty firm too, to get one from Yahoo will set you back ~$290 and thats before you ship it here and paint it.
  4. I laughed when I saw that on NS, and I'm laughing again now I'd almost call that poetic justice. If anything though, that's just plain funny
  5. If I were you I'd take the 34 out and see how you go before commiting to buying a car purely for skids. I hear ya about the insurance thing and not wanting to damage your car but as long as you coast through turn one and avoid the tyre stacks, it's pretty damn hard to actually hit anything on the other corners. One prac night for ~$200 to see what it's like is a lot better than $2000 on a drift car
  6. yeah good luck with that. Go the 31 if you just wanna go out and thrash something. Take your 34 out there if you want to learn more about the car/driving in general. Once you get over the fear of bending a good car its much more fun.
  7. I'm definately gonna be there. Remains to be seen if I rock it with my mates later in the day or get in early and save some chairs with you Andrew, I'll decide that one closer to the date. I'd be keen on an SAU drinking team shirt though
  8. Is that a home theatre speaker in his back passenger seat??? Yeah can't say I rate that 34 but hey, each to their own
  9. As for costs and requirements. A normal prac day is about $125 last time I went out. $10 at the gate $90 to go on the track (or it may be $80 I can't remember ) $25 for a one-day CAMS licence Then theres a full tank of petty, tyres and whatever else you might chew through. I used to budget about $250-$300 each prac, as I'd just get cheap as possible second hand tyres for the back from the various tyre places I've worked at over the years I've never towed my car out, just make sure your car is presentable (or drive a JZX100, the coppers waved me through last prac in my 100, they probably thought I was someones parent in a Camry going out there to watch )
  10. I'm loving Burnout Revenge at the mo (kinda old school I know ) Never get tired of ripping through massive traffic jams at over 300kmh seeing cars and shit flying everywhere
  11. I think this pic stolen from NS.com says it all
  12. FK YES!! So damn keen for shitzenfaced Good looking fitment also there Adrian, nice and flush so you should hopefully not get hassled for it.
  13. The ones in Jimmy's dp are series 2, and yes they look a shitload better than the grey series 1 taillights Personally, I wouldn't bother with trying to get coupe tail lights to fit. The boot and rear bar are a differnet shape around the lights, and so is the guard where the indicator is on 4dr lights. I only changed mine (to series 2 ones) because I destroyed the stock ones when I stacked it
  14. Ah in that case, there are a few options for that front bumper I've got that front bar as well, and was looking for a front lip too. I ended up getting the standard auto drop down lip and customizing it slightly so it could be mounted like a normal lip. This is what I came up with after fitting and painting it up If you want something that wraps around the bar from wheel arch to wheel arch, then there is this one available on Yahoo, starting at ~$90 (shipping would be nice and cheap too, as it's 2 piece) Link to auction There is also another lip for that front bar I've found, but if you're looking for something that doesn't sit too low and doesn't stand out like dogs balls, it's probably not for you (not to mention it's over $400 before shipping )
  15. Here is what I was talking about. ~ $122 at the current exchange rate (plus shipping plus whatever your buyer charges to get it for you ) Link to front lip And everyone loves pretty pictures
  16. Is this the front bar you're talking about? If so, there are front lips available on Yahoo auctions for pretty cheap.
  17. I agree the GS300 has a big arse, but decked on Meisters you kinda look past that Not a bad looking company car I spose (from what I gathered the bloke works at Drift Tengoku and that's his work hack ) BTW it's not a chop.
  18. I LOL'd pretty hard when I saw this. Lets rock some fatty skids in mah slammed Lexus in front of Maccas
  19. I remember seeing a half finished 25NEO into 32 project on NS going for a ridiculously low price a while back, could be the same car?
  20. My sense of adventure has been eroded by too many moments on shit tyres
  21. I should come to vilis one of these days. Tis a bit of a hike but it's not like I'm doing anything else, and would be good to meet some new car people
  22. Looks like a fun little machine. I wouldn't know how to drive it because all my cars have been RWD, but I bet it'd be ridiculous amounts of fun to punt through the hills Not to mention I can't see it chewing down the fuel like our cars
  23. Oh well you know what they say: If it's got tits or tyres you're going to have trouble
  24. ^ so you know what we have to put with then? Boof: It's not always about traction though. Steering and braking aren't much fun when you haven't got any grip. And +1 Kralster, well said.
  25. Lowest you should ge being the lowest of the lot? I've had various types of Wanlis, and they're all crap. The good thing is (like you said) they last ages. I had a pair of rears on the 100 last for 3 drift days and about 5000 road kays. They had absolutely no grip, but you can't argue with that tyre life Maxxis tend to be a lot better tyre for a marginal price increase over Wanlis, and for a little bit more, the Wide Ovals are better again. I'd never run Wanlis or any of the cheap lesser brand tyres on the front, thats asking for trouble. Rears are a moot point in my case, but you gotta run with good fronts.
