Thanks mate. One thing awesome about this place is the goodness of people which is really appreciated. Im just depressed for now. I will get over it. I have a sneaking suspicion that the ECU is not Fkd. but just requires a firmwarre update which I found here as Sean mentioned it is a v1 http://www.haltech.com/downloads-2/ecu-software-firmware/ I will talk to Sean next week and see if he has seen this, as to send a new working ECU back to Haltech for repair may not had been necessary but I will verify this wtih him.

I have another baby coming (this weekend maybe) which Im really keen to finally meet I have been focusing way tooooo much on this car and its not fair towards my current daughter and beautiful wife (shit im fighthing to hold back tears in the office) But that is also becasuse I was hoping to have it by now............ I need to focus on my family as that is my priority. The car will just have to wait but its also heartbreaking and I feel like shit.

Just spoke to Haltech. They have not received any ECU from EFI Performance or under the name of Sean Ramsdell. I asked them about the drilling of holes in ECU and they told me that they only do that to demonstration / display versions for dealer workshops to ensure they are not used again in the event they are stolen. He ensured me that they will not do that to mine (if its there) Really, really, really, really depressed with everything regarding the car FTM.............................to the point where I feel it just wasnt mean to be :/ The worse part about it is if the Haltech is fked, Im not in a financial position to purchase another which means no car, no tuning................................nothing.

Hatlech said to Sean when he called them that this ECU has an older firmware on there and is apparently a known issue. I asked Sean if Hatlech would replace it with a new one - hes said he doesnt know. bottom line, is that I still have no car, and now no ECU im totally devestated with it all.

Alledgedly everything is still running but the USB port slows down and Sean cant get any proper reading from it. Haltech was sent back to Sydney yesterday (hopefully will get it soon) to have a look at it.
