ok... so next question.. if you have had an ross balancer and switched to a ati one... what difference's did you notice? ie. what comparison have you done to be able to say the ross balancer is cheese, and the ati one is the cheese? are there the 2 different types in the ross brand also? ie a 600hp version, and a 1000hp version? or just the one size fits all...

yeh sorry peeps... shoulda made it more clear.. it is for an rb26. to be honest i haven't priced either through my supplier, but have just done some internet research, and the ross ones seem to be atleast 300 cheaper then the ati. i don't intend to make 1000hp, i won't push it much further then 500@wheels.. and i know of plenty of cars still using the standard balancer at that power(if its good enough for 2BNVS to make 600rwhp, then it'll b ok for 500!). but... my engine didn't come with one.. so its just an excuse to buy a better one ATI seems to be the go, but if the ross is substantially cheaper i think i'll go with that. thanks for everyone's 2c. muchly appreciated

if your talking about an adaptor to fit the rb26 plenum onto rb25. pretty sure blitz make a kit, and if they don't. .. someone else does because i found one a little while ago in japan.

just want people's oppinions and experiences... who's using ross and who's using ati balancers? any problems, spitting belts etc.? problems fitting up? etc. i'd rather go to the ross balancer... simply because there cheaper, are there any advantages to going the ati?

you can use any airflow with the emanage blue also. if your gonna go to the extra expense of an ultimate, i don't see why you'd bother running an afm at all, seeing as you can piss them off al together and use the map sensor setup you can buy for it.

hey! my parts would be nice... or my money back... or even a reply as to wtf is happening.

emanage blue you can use a pressure sensor aswell.. to tune the emanage,... however your standard ecu will still require the afm to be used, because the emanage is just modifying the factory computer signals... if that makes any sense. you can tune it via the e01 boost controller or the emanage specific laptop support tool. you don't need an air flow controller, as that is wat the emanage does. you can upgrade airflow meters. upgrade injectors and also run extra injectors, you can also use it to switch nitrous/water spray if you know how to hook it up. they are a good computer, as far as piggy back's go.

yay! there are normal people on here... looks like i'll try and use a gtr sump then. i was basically asking what the best cheapest setup is to use... why spend money when you don't have to? right? i don't expect to make upto 350rwkw on a standard bottom end. i expect to make more with an aftermarket bottom end and 20/25 sumps do bolt on to4gtr but like someone else said you need to slightly massage the sump in some areas.

ok.. can someone please explain to me that when i post up that a part can be bought cheaper somwhere else new.. i get in the shit from the administrator, but everyone else can get away with it?

don't have one. don't wana buy one. heaps of people have used the 20/25/30 sumps, just wana know wat combination is best. as much as i'd like to use a 26 one. it'd cost to much to do. a; the purchase.. and then b; the mods and cost of welding. anyone heard or seen anything about the highenergy sumps?
