BOOSTD, Are you saying that if we tune our cars at Turbo tune, there is a warranty againts the engine blowing?

Not trying to be a smart ass but, you did mention STI right? Ok, i draged a wrx a few years back at a proper drag strip with the mods you mentioned, turbo (VF 22 STI one), FMIC and ECU. So really it has similar power output of an STI but minus the lower gear ratios = slightly slower car. However, it was on 1.2 bar. I ran a 12.4/12.3/12.8 Consistantly... so really, an STI DOESNOT need a turbo for one, to beat you. I noticed youre only in the low 13's??!!! By the way, the WRX was a WAGON. :shake:

Matrix, So u have the compliance available for all the cars listed on your site? FTO, Skyline, Stagea etc??? How much are you charging?

I know compliance is the same.. but the new scheme is now in effect. THis means any car inported under the old scheme will not be able to be complianced under the new scheme. I know someone who didnt realise this last month and has no option but to destroy the car or wreck it.

Sydneykid, So if a GTST loses 60kw thru the drivetrain, how much more loss does a GTR have over a GTST since its 4wd? say 300kw at all four wheels =???

How can u compliance a car after the old scheme has finished? I saw this post previously under the old scheme which ended about a month ago.

WRX will always beat a gtst. Stock for stock or both with the same modifications. As long as the WRX owner can get the best launch out of it and the same for the GTST. It will get closer towards the end of the 400m mark as the Nissan pulls up closer but i think the distance won from the launch will just get it. STI will beat both FOR CERTAIN.

oh to answer ure question, the stock turbo MAY get it into the 11's with more than 1.2 bar of boost... but not for long... especially since its an R32 due to the age... Anymore than 1 bar for long periods are just a blown turbo waiting to happen...

I used 34 turbo's before but the N1 Spec. (Totally different from just the 34 ones). At only 0.9bar i could get flat 12's and crack into the high 11's no probls. Getting a quick car is one thing... getting it to last is another... To prove my point.. what i must tell u is that with that turbo i had bigger injectors, fuel pump, full manifold, cam adjusters and much larger cams etc........

They are very good for daily driving on the softest and hard when u want it for track. My is listed brand new at nearly $6,000.

Whats the story with the 4WD Diff?? What else would i need to convert a 2wd into a GTS4???

oh didnt realise yours is an R32 GTR. Im sure R32/33 are the same arent they?? only 34 are different.

Came with the car. Was fitted by HKS Kansaii in Japan. Never had any discussions about the ride actually. How much are you getting em for? On another forum someone is selling it for $1,200. I would get it.
