  1. Reconnected N/A Ecu and now everything is fine we installed the injectors first as we don't have time to do the whole install in one day we have to do it over time unfortunately.
  2. Ok, it starts and idles now, but it blows light grey smoke, and misfires. Smells like there's no catalytic converter. Could this be wrong fuel pressure for the turbo ecu? If so, what is the correct fuel pressure, as we are using an N/A fuel press reg. Remember, its an RB25DE with T injectors and ecu. EDIT: Just took it for a drive and its definitely running way too rich, the cat light came on when taking it to higher (4-5k) revs, huge exhaust pops when shifting gears, hunting for idle etc. but the misfiring got better (wasn't cured) at higher rpm (around 3) Stuck injector? Wrong fuel pressure? Fuel pump? (remember, NO BOOST, its still an n/a, no more air than before, therefore no more fuel needed, so pump should be capable for now)
  3. Well all we did last night was remove fuel rail and insert the new GTST injectors and then plug in the GTST Ecu, is it possible we need to reset the settings by unconnecting the battery? Could it also be something to do with a fuse?
  4. Yeah Im still running the stock NA fuel pump so should I pickup a GTST pump?

    Drift Practice

I went last night and it was awesome, slydr was really tearing it up I also loved the little corolla that was running on wires at one point along with the R31 with the awesome dose sound. I saw NA_Goodness in the carpark and a white gtst that was parked a car away from me with "hi" written in the dirt on the rear bumper All in all great night and when is the next one?
  6. Yea, that may be a problem. When i bought the car i did not receive a key from the owner (for the alarm). Are there any other ways to stop it. For example, any ground wires to take off for the back up battery for the alarm? Preferably a way with out breaking anything
  7. Ok the other day I was disconnecting my battery from my R33 GTS and began unscrewing the negative cable from the car (secured with 2 small nuts) I thought this would be the easiest way. I got the first nut off fine but when I began undoing the second one it sparked at first I thought it was just a little discarge but when the nut lost contact with the securing plate it sparked again and set the alarm off, I then had to tighten it again with more sparking but once it was in contact again the alarm went off... WTF? I'm sure this was the neg cable as it was connected to the boot (earthed?) and the other cable had the red cover on it and was beside the fuse console. Was I supposed to disconect the engine bay leads instead? Or is there a problem somewhere along the line? Plz help guys
  8. I'm up for it would be great to meet everyone

  10. Yeah I was in the same position as you a few months ago and I opted for an R33 GTS and couldn't be happier Oh and trust me the NAs are not slow by any means so I'm sure you will not be disappointed with it as a first car.
  11. Cant imagine that being road legal with all those diamonds not that I think it will ever see the road
  12. Looks like they changed the rules again! "Learner Drivers who were issued their Learners permit on or before the 27 June 2008 will fall under the ‘old system’ and will NOT have to wait six months between passing their Practical Driving Assessment and taking the Hazard Perception Test. They will only have to do 25 hours of supervised driving and be a minimum age of 17 before completing the Hazard Perception Test." http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/yourlicence/15641.asp

  14. Yeah in Perth, Kingsley. Just stuck the pod filter on today old filter wasn't too hard to get off and I left the stock CAI on for some extra airflow. I can certainly notice a difference it really does get off quick now in first and second most noticeably cant wait to get some extractors at some point too. Shall post pics tomorrow
  15. Ah woops yeah we reset it some time ago and haven't bothered to set the date properly, I will be fitting a HKS pod filter to it tomorrow so I will take a pic and see how she goes its only a temp until I get one of those apexi power intakes.
