  1. you competition coating the manifold anyway arent you john?
  2. Alex, have you tested these plenums on the R34 GTT runners? do they fit? think i put the instructions down after having to drill out the std bolt locations on the lower section to be able to fit the studs through .. oh well will try the sealant on the gasket and see if she gets fixed up
  3. how long did that take John?
  4. umm any import wrecker in your area, check for sale section here on SAU ..
  5. hahaha you asked already .. you wanna raise the boost? you'll have to remap your ecu or get aftermarket management. this will show the injector duty, fuel pump .. GTR pump for around $150 ISH - why not? plenty of people have done this, try looking around, and reposting the same question twice.
  6. rb25det has 2 knock sensors .. one between 5-6 and one between 2-3 cyls.
  7. http://uniqueautosports.com/pricelists/pri...ylineturbos.htm there is a internally gated 3040 from garrett.. www.nismo.com.au
  8. umm that would depend on what mods and specs they were tuned for, AFAIK they are tuned roms specific to the car it came from. spose the only way to know is to put it in and run it on the dyno too see how it goes, more than likely could be tuned to 101 RON.
  9. link to his write up is in my post just up a bit.
  10. the less work the boost controller has to do the better.. a more stable boost curve will be acheivable with a gate spring that is closer to desired boost level rather than relying on the boost controller to modify the pressure the gate is recieving. in the example with a 9psi spring, it will make it to 9psi fine but the progression after that can be affected with the delay and duty cycle of the boost controller. HKS sell adjustable actuators. could use other ones but not many cars run 14psi std .. so aftermarket is where you would have to go.
  11. PM Slide on these forums. Satanic from the forums has installed one on his R34 GTT, cant remember his dyno figures off the top of my head.
  12. hahah nope, he had it already as per his pic way above
  13. so a sealant over the factory gasket to assist it to seal. im willing to give it a go.. was thinking this would be the only way around it other than running a shim in there to decrease the gap.
  14. get an upgraded actuator for the reasons that R31nismoid and Paulr33 have said.
  15. well i doubt it would come with the 2510, could be the old rb20 one ..and not the one that came with the turbo from the shop .. hard to say
  16. 2510 is internally gated, i wouldn't see why they would get you to run an external gate on that.. maybe upgrade the actuator, but not swap to external
  17. get your car fixed Mona, i'll teach ya
  18. its in this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=115675
  19. have seen the wiring diagram to do it on here, recently actually like 2 days ago..
  20. spot on!!! like this available from UAS - www.nismo.com.au
  21. there are alot of threads about this in the last couple of months.. tomei aren't making them anymore by the looks of it, you will need customs made up, do a search it has the name of a company in QLD that makes them
  22. just jap have r32 specific kits www.justjap.com
  23. umm you wont be able to use the old airbox with a pod, you need to unbolt it. leave the cold air intake in place and look into making your own airbox out of alluminium sheeting. wouldnt suggest putting it in the guard.
