Grant - i didnt quite get your meaning but youre concerned re front plate fitting in the recess? short answer, it doesnt.... i have my plates (both standard at first and now the custom plates) bolted into the front bar using what are like rubber extenders i guess...circular black rubber supports that come out from the recess in the front bar and hold the plate on with bolts into it. i didnt put them there though so i dunno where youd get them from...
