i cant afford $125 for a track day. but that is just the cost to get into the track not fuel/helmut, break pads etc. im sure for a lot of people on here that is nothing but to me that is alot. im not saying that because i cant afford a trackday it gives me an excuse to hoon. but car enthusiats come from all walks of life.

you see more falcon/commadore hoons because they are the most common car on the road. i see just a many skyline owners that just have to show me that there skyline is better/more powerful than mine by trying to race or getting wheel spin. im guilty of spirited driving too and i would say that most people with a skyline have done it at some stage. I agree that going to the track would make is easier to behave on the road by getting your fix so to speak, but i have yet to see a track that is free of charge like the road. thats how you get hoons of the road in my opinion, like a bmx/skate park kind of setup for cars. i know im dreaming

thanks skyhi 33, i rang pitlane performance today. they didnt fix it but gave me the right advice, ended up cutting the line and using high pressure hose.

yeh thats what im thinking too. i tried a mobile hose place i wont name and he said that more than likely he wont be able to fix it, i thought wtf thats what they do. i dont think he wanted to come out on a saturday night, to much anyway.

checked my hicas lock bar install today after about a month, noticed and oil leak from the u piece that connects the two hydraulic lines. the weld on the u piece has broken and needs to be replaced. does anyone know a good place that deals in hydraulic hoses etc and is open on sundays? as ill try to fix it tommorrow, its my only car so i need to do it asap. thanks.

spotted a nice clean black r33 gtst at foodland of st bernards road, sounded tough idleing through the car park. Also spotted a r33 gtst with that purple to green paint (cant remember what its called) with a black boot and no rear wing around rostrevor.

the newspaper delivery guy around my area takes the racing line around most corners that i have seen, i think they get used to having the roads to them self.

spotted a white R34 fourdoor heading out of town towards the hills on the freeway last night at about 9pm, cut into my lane as i was passing it. lucky the inside lane was clear.

more cars on the road = more deaths. people need to blame someone

just spotted madaz i think in a r33 4 door cruising through campbell town shopping centre, only going by your pic on here. I was in the hell dirty Maroon R32, sorry didnt get to wave.

the track is a tempory one at an airport somewhere. its takes the R35 skyline 1:09 something seconds to do it, so not a very long track.

i dont think the top gear hosts were that great either, felt like they tried to hard. give them a few episodes and it might get better

Just wondering if anyone saw the R35 GTR on top gear, for all 15 seconds of it lol it managed to set the top time on the track all be it there first show,it kicked ass. the only other car to have any chance was a 911S PDK but it beat that by just over two seconds. will be interesting how long it can stay on top.

I have owned a R32 GTS-T type M for just over two year, two doors and four seats. I was reading my rego paper today and noticed that it in the body type section it is classed as a sedan. Just wondering if this is normal or should it say coupe?

i remember just after they opened the tunnel someone dumped diesel fuel most of the way on the downtrack, very dangerous. i suspect that was from one of the houses up there aswell. the paint could also be a disgruntled cyclist/bike rider there is a lot of them up there during the day. ive never seen many cops up there, unless there is a lot of cars or when people keep going up and down all night. i usally cruise down when i head to town. i did see a 180sx with a s15 front end doing donuts and drifting around the traffic islands up the top about 2-3 weeks ago.

the cameras on the south eastern freeway are just to monitor traffic flow and accident situations, to close down lanes etc. im not sure if they target trucks for average speed between two points, but am very sure that they dont target cars. in any case they would still have to send a police car to witness you speeding and pull you over. on the freeway the thing to look out for is at the u-turn points, thats where the cops cars sit with there cameras and also under some of the bridges. the hahndorf bridge etc.

does anyone have an idea where u r going, i might be interested.

i saw a grey r32 gtr gunning it onto the freeway leaving Hahndorf at about 730pm sat. also saw two skylines (33's i think) on mt barker rd heading towards mt barker about 1130pm.

i understand that you cant see black ice, thats why i said i haven't hit any. im just saying no matter what time the cruise is on that ice isnt that much of an issue compared to rain. 3am or morning run ill be there either way.
