  1. Nice! Thanks for all the responses guys! This cruise idea sounds great, but now the hard part is finding a time and day when everyone, especially me haha, is free, and the weather isn't too shabby. Or I can try and organise a few different days and people can come to which ever one they are free for. The next sticky situation will be locations for shoots. I'm assuming there will be a few cars around each time I do it, and I'm gonna want to do like, one car at a time shoots, and say for example, if i want do a carpark shoot everyone else will have to go somewhere else so they arent in the background. Although then later, I'll experiment with shots with different depths of field, with cars in the background and even doing like two's and groups shots. Something which will take alot of planning, first off being me thinking of locations. The idea I have in my head for this cruise at the moment, is to first off meet at a particular location, get some group shots of the cars together possibly single shots of cars, then head off to another location, and at each location i'll decide which cars to take the individual shots of. It will definately be a during the day cruise, I'm also assuming on the weekend because most people work weekdays. Anyone got a few dates in mind? I would say after Autosalon, but I actually need all my photos finished BEFORE that so I don't think that will work. Unless it was on the 16th. I guess that would give me a week But in the meantime might organise some smaller shoots, not really a cruise just a meet up, me take photos and cya later with your photos on a disc kind of thing I have already organised with craig_R33 and 4door_Sleeper to do something this Tuesday afternoon, because they are both free at that time, and also gives them time to discuss Autosalon 08 haha. If anyone else is free Tuesday arvo, chuck me a PM. I'll send you some details. I haven't decided on the location yet but will let you know ASAP. Cheers guys.
  2. Nice, will let you know. Didn't know i'd get such a great response from everyone I'm using a Canon 400D. Pretty good for its price and what it can do.
  3. Last one makes me laugh
  4. Work is a bitch! haha. That would be good to get some photos from for sure grrr
  5. Haha damn! I don't seem to hear about these cruises! haha. Although my night photography isn't as great as my day time photography
  6. Ha for sure! Anyone i take pics for can have a disc or two of the photos i take Does that mean that currently you don't have your car? Hmmm I need to have all the photos probably by at the latest the 22nd of August.
  7. I'll be there anyways taking photos Nah the idea is, to pick and plan a location and take photos. And i want the photos to be done in natural light aswell, not artifical lights inside a massss warehouse haha. And also cos of like the barriers put up around the cars i cant really get great shots. Outdoors is alot better cos you can get distance too without anyone walking infront of the camera :D
  8. Awesome! Thanks for the reply. Will PM you with some details.
  9. Hey everyone, Im looking for some people who own imported cars (not just Skylines) who would be willing to let me take some photos of for my Year 12 Photography project. I'm not too fussed on what cars to take photos of, but any help would be much appreciated! It may seem weird because you don't even know me, but I am desperate haha. And maybe it would be nice to have some decent looking shots of ya car, free of any charge haha. I have already taken some photos of a members car who i am friends with. Below are the shots i took, gives an example of what sort of angles and shots i want to take. If you have any questions about it and/or are interested, please type something in here or PM me and I will get back to you as soon as i can. Cheers.
  10. Haha thanks. Yeah I know. Or maybe if they were cars of a better quality?
  11. Some more pics... WIsh i'd taken this one with the right depth of field and for some reason the lense outline is rather off centre Tis all for now Critique is welcome
  12. Jeeez. Thats an awesome shot. Love the lighting. How'd you get the green effect?
  13. Want some photos like that of your car? Let me know...i took em!
  14. hey thanks for all the comments Yeah the 33 is hot ha. Need some more photos of skylines for my yr12 photography project haha. Or any sort of import. If anyone in Adelaide is interested in some photos taken of their car PM me or something The car photos and the flower were all taken with a Canon Digital SLR EOS 400D. And the rest were taken with just my digital camera, a Sony DSC-V1. Which is nothing special but still managed to take some good shots when adjusting the settings and in specific lights.
  15. Hi am new to this forum. Don't have a Skyline but have a large passion for cars and photography, and lately i've been joining the two together. Feel free to comment on any photos. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! The above pics are a few of a series of photographs i took of Jack88's R33. They turned out pretty well. Only a few photos....theres alot more where they came from haha. Let me know what you think!

  19. To capture something, and freeze it as he has done you also need to use an UBER FAST shutter speed haha A tripod as well or a surface to place the camera on, to remove unwanted blur from the camera moving.
