Hey , Yesterday i did the dodgy BOV modification by using a self taping screw to block the holes on the bottom of the BOV. Now by doing this the "blow off" noise i really loud......but what i wanna know is, is this noise coming from the blow off or is it the air going back thru the turbo pipes to the compressor??? Is this no good for the turbo??? i've done a search but just can find an answer. P.S The car feels like it comes onto boost alittle stronger. Thanks George

my experience 1. clean rotors with brake cleaner....really well 2. use shims on pads 3. use stop squeel glue on the pads 4. clean pads with brake cleaner if they get dirty too. always be careful where you put you greasy fingers. seems to be working well with dba rotor and utimates.....i did have them squeeling on my last brake change, so i pulled them apart....and did the above again....and been really good since.

i've found with all my cars.....if u have the tick tick sound.....oil that is alittle thicker usually helps......my r32 gtst used to tic tic with 5-40 oil.....changed to thicker oil from the same brand....tic tic is now gone

i got an arc kit on my r32 gtst......cost me ~$1400 from nengun.....landed with taxes. I wanted a kit i was going to have absolutely no dramas installing and that what i got, didnt have to cut my front bar, didnt have to cut holes in the engine bay, and didnt need anything else other than a 10, 12, 14mm socket and a screw driver to do the whole job. Basically, everything was perfect. at the track days with 15 mins of constant high loads the hot side becomes too hot to touch and the cold side is still cool enough to grab. 2 thumbs up for me.

so is this modification worthwhile? does it harm you turbo at all???
