I have recently bought a Hybrid FMIC kit for my R33. It appears to come with everything required for installation. Has anyone had much experience fitting these kits? I had my front bar off and it looks like in addition to the front bar requiring some cutting, you also need to cut the front bar reinforcement. I don't really have the time to do this install at the moment so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good exhaust place(or anyone who will fit an FMIC for me) in Melbourne's South East to Eastern suburbs(preferably someone you have used before)? Camberwell, Box Hill, or Ringwood would be ideal. Alternatively, has anyone documented an install of the hybrid kit on an R33? The pics in the "manual" aren't all that helpful, especially when it comes time to cutting the front bar reinforcement.

I got my '93 R33 turb serviced recently and since I got it back the stock oil pressure guage doesn't seem to be working. More specifically, it is sitting on 0 all the time. I can't think of anything that they may have done that would have damaged it but surely I'm not driving around on 0 kg/cm2 oil pressure. The car is running fine. Before the service the oil pressure guage behaved normally. 1-2kg for idle 4-5kg for boosting Any ideas on what I should look at to fix it? (I have checked connections into the guage). Is there a sensor they could have knocked or something like that ? Thanks.

I have found the consult port and reset my ECU with a paperclip. Even better than this was the fact I got the all OK flash sequence. I will post pics when I get round to adding an ecu reset switch.

Thanks Airzone. I read about that method somewhere. Do you, or does anyone else, have a pic of the consult port ? In an R33, is it a grey port in the fuse box in the cabin on the drivers side (where your right knee would be when sitting in the drivers seat) ? I wouldn't mind hooking a switch up to it so that I can reset ECU from the drivers seat without utensils ! Thanks again.

Thanks for the quick rundown fireblade. I installed mine today with minimum fuss. I was very surprised at how easy it was once I worked out what was what. I now have my boost dialed up to 0.8 bar and it's rockin. The boost response seems much smoother across the rev range now too. Next step is to add my new Air/Fuel ratio metre so that I can intelligently use my S-AFC(Gen 1). Thanks again.
