  1. Hey guys, i'm at a cross roads, hoping your input may sway me. i have the opportunity to buy a crate motor (long motor) (cams, springs, pistons ect) ready for turbo/s and a diff (tomei) to put down such power in a decent fashion. or leave my car stock, and sell then upgrade. keep the v35 luxury, or step it up a notch to bullshit power? the mods will cost about $18,000 once finished i know its my decision to make and my money, but is it worth it in your eyes? or pointless. bring up some valid points its an 03 6mt v35 coupe. should i save the dollars and buy a 36/370? or something else or have a 500Hp+ v35? will the dramas start once i get my motor built?
  2. i was also keen
  3. yeah ive got an awesome tuner. yeah its going to be a bitch with the throttle. oh well ill sort it. not a motec man :S
  4. or maybe a vq35dett? i have a pivot speed meter v to try and remove the speed cut?? weather it works or not. ill be going a link ecu in the future.
  5. Well for starters speed cut is going. Giving me the absolute shits. I'm also outing in an aftermarket afc. And looking into various other piggybacking options before I buy my link ecu. But mainly cause I'm about to get into the "real" modifying my car. I'm also about to pull my dash apart in the next few weeks. Anyword on the tv tuner? And cruise control? I'm about to make a hell of a mess. :-) And Leon, I'm putting 12's on the rear now. To ensure I have enough traction, for future mods ;-)

  19. Seems to look like we will have a good turnout! 6.15pm Clive peters carpark varsity! may even be a hot4s cover car there
  20. i say clive peters at varsity, 6.15, we shall meet, have a chat and decide? i think there may be a few other random cars meeting us too!
  21. on sat you can jump in if you come. take you round the block or something. its not bad.
  22. either or? im just worried some of the back roads may be a bit "destroyed"?
  23. my 35 is on 20's with coilovers and its still a "comfortable" ride. little bit firmer, but i wouldnt complain with what im running.
  24. i think i may organise something still then if people are keen. same meet spot (clive peters at goldcoast 6pm (6.15-6.30 leave)) we could cruise down to byron or something for a little bit of a different run? same rules apply as on every cruise don't be a wanker thou.
