You don't want turbo..? Thats like saying you want to get laughed at. and the only reason you want a skyline is for 'image'. Trust me, go turbo, worth every second. And you don't need to learn manual, you will pick it up straight away when you buy ur car.. (i did anyway..)

1. Auto Skylines are gay. 2. Get Manual, you will DEFINATELY not regret it. 3. You dont need a 'health' check every month. 4. r32? for 15k? You can literally go buy an R34 GT-T for that. 5. R32's are alot older. I personally reckon they have more problems, i've had 2 33's and they had problems. 0 problems with the 34. My saying is, the older the car, the more problems. 6. Petrol will be a bitch. depending on how much power. expect 350-400km (60L) out of a stockish GTS-Turbo. 7. Go on carsales, whatevers cheaper/cleaner. buy it, make sure you do a mechanical check cos most of em are thrashed. 8. Manual, if you know auto, you'll learn it within a few days, after that is just 'perfecting your manual' but you will be fine after a day or two. you may stall a few times, but eventually realise how easy it is to drive.

it definately has power steering as 90% of the time the steering is light.. i've driven an excel without power steering.... :|

Hi, got a lil problem with my Hyundai excel i just bought. The steering is very heavy when i steer.. at the start... but once i get the car going the steering will be very smooth....... It seems the steering has no power steering when the car isnt moving.. :| Any ideas? Maybe the power steering oil.. i'm thinking x.x Any advice would be great, would make my life a hell lot easier instead of using so much energy steering LOL

Skylines are underrated, they're the best cars.. i've had heaps of cars.. s14,monaro vz, ferrari f355, 350z, and believe me.........SKYLINE Shits on all of em............................ (But the ferrari pulls more heads)

you get an automatic exemption if you own ur own business.. say you need to drive ur car for 'image reasons' and say go register a free ABN online. tell them you advertise imports etc etc..

300km a FULL TANK. r34 gtt 190rwkw. I thrash it very very hard though.. everytime i drive it.....

ive had an 03 monaro. with full difilpo exhaust intake. maf tune etc .. and i got rid of it in a week.. and what can i say. i have a 34 gtt now... the monaro is just a massive peice of crap.. they cant handle for crap.. its a crappy feel compared to a skyline imo

just keep your licence in SA.. once u transfer it you're unable to drive turboo. tututu.
