I heard that with the manifold and turbo i can put it in and just run low boost without changing computer and injectors and fuel pump.. etc...whcih'll come some time later... ALOT later ey =)

guys...heh pardon my ignorance, but i was just wondering, what is the meaning of flat shifting? im running a exedy brass button clutch and this can take shitloads of power even tho my car's a N/A.... when i tkae off real quick...and rev till almost red line, and change gears, there is always a SNAP kinda sound or response from the gearbox...why is it? its like the stick is snapping out of a gear and into another. Snap for getting out...but going into the new gear is always just fine. ne tips to improve take off time? friggin v6 commonwhore could keep up wit me man...and i was pushing her hard....damn... till i hit the 3rd gear of course...and went thru a flash...i mite not haf a liscence sometime soon but still would love to know these things =) doubt the commie drivr would b drivin netime soon too if i lost mine heh thanks guys

financing can be a b*tch ey... well.... im an 18yr old student...frm malaysia too...and i managed to get finance for my skyline.. a few catches tho...i got it frm this broker in Vic Pk, Westralian Auto Finance, Steve was the dude and the catch was i had to get my car thru Skippers Performance Centre and the cars there although clean and nice, are friggin expensive. well the price to pay for an import and needing finance at this age and havin no credit history and being here on a visa... so he organized everythin, i paid 50% upfront and he orgranized the other 50% financed and i got my insurance and paying 2600 with HBF...pretty happy...SGIO quoted me 4+... and now drivin away happily servicing the loan =) maybe give him a checkout if yr still havin problems =) just my 2 cents.... laters

hmm...im 18, i drive a 94' Skyline GTS non turbo and foreign student too... im payin 2600a yr with the option to pay mnthly at no more and im insured with HBF. i can modify the car how i like but no turbocharging or changing the engine... sounds pretty fair to me..=) give em a ring... SGIO quoted me 4300. Young and Cool didnt bother cause the lady on e phone told me it'll be 4+... Allianz and suncrop metway didnt want my business so heh...i was pretty positive on HBF i would think...=)

i haf a set of Work Racing Wheels to sell.... AUD1000 negotiable. they are e exact same ones that appeared on HPI special issue one on the Gold supra on the cover and centrefold. they are 16in and have 80% of tread left on the tyres. the tyres are 225/50's. its presently on my skyline GTS and not sure of the offset but would find out... they are lightweight and can fit 4 or 5 stud patterns... pics upon request. am in Perth WA so anyone nearby so i dont haf to send over or etc would be GREAT... =) thankss Ps: forgot to add, I also have a black japanese bucket seat. lightweight one. it is fabric trimmed with leather on the side. am willing to sell the rims together with the seat for only $1100. adios.. 0411331240:burnout: :burnout:

CC: The best place i know...is Evolution R...its in Bentley. dont know the name of e road...but comin up albany hwy frm city towards albany... after diesel motors/mercedesbenz, look out for the liquor stores on e left...then there should be a set of lights where u see right after the lights on yr left is the Bentley Center. so at that lights, the one before Bentley Centre, turn left and go in. go in and the Bentley Center will be on yr right and just go. the first right junction **AFTER** bentley centre...turn right. dont turn into bentley center like most fewls ive given directions to...heh. and go straight in...its at the end on the right side of the cul-de-sac. Mao's the kingpin of dis place and he does good work...fast too! other places wanted 3-4 workin days to rebuild and install my new clutch coz e old one was slippin...the new ones an exedy brass button clutch and Mao did it in a day...good work done too..=) Klokan: just change it to e pod filter...remove the airbox...but keep the little funneling thing to channel the cold air to the filter frm the grill of e car...thats what mines like...oil... i like mobil1 but Mao at Evo R uses Shell and dats pretty aiite too.... Evo R did the beauuutiful yellow skyline frm perth in HPI that was frm 3 - 4 mnths back...check yur bushes and shocks as mine went in this mornin...and gonna pick it up in abit...mao works late..=) and the shocks are messed up cause when i did the lowering, i did it somewhere else and the other guy totally messed it up... ergh... gotta stop goin to different places.... ill put in some pics of ROUGHLY how to put in pods tomorrow here... later guys

guys guys...heh im servicing my 94 33 GTS non turbo that has 92K's. its a 5K service. it has a blitz air pod and a cat back exhaust system... high flow cat etc...driven hard once in awhile... besides a irritating KNOCKING sound in the door that i cannot find even after i take apart the door panel. it mysteriously dissapears after i take out the door panel. and its NOT from the door panel either...ergh and the suspensions are knocking when i go up uneven rds...esp up driveways and curved bumps...so i gotta get that checked on the hoist... nething to be aware of tho in a rb25de and 94 33 in general?? thanks lot guys... ps: when i rev it up...and take off....whaddya mean by revving till the limiter? which means it cuts yr rev before u overdo it and blow up the engine? if so at what is the limit and is it bad to go there?

do any of you guys with the NA r33's...just like mine have ;loud exhausts but none of dat mechanical whirr? whenever a skyline goes by, there's this mechanical whirr...whirrrrrr kinda sound but mine just has a boooooommmm kinda sound...doesnt sound like the gtst at all... ne of ya'll got this problem? thanks guys...n just wondering..=)

i get what ure saying... true...what i really meant was will the sound be aiite after? ive got this alpine v12 amp that a friend of mine sold after he stripped his car n sold it away and if i put it in, will the front pioneer 150w 3 way spkrs and the rear clarion spkrs, the rears are stock,, i PRESUME, be able to make good music without any more additions? thanks alot guys...been great help here

i have done as u recommended booster...heh...thanks alot for dat bit... i disconnected the tweets but didnt remove em as they were screwed onto the little triangular piece right behind the rearview door mirrors...so it would leave a big hole there..plus they arent all that expensive a type so i thought just leave it there... what i did was from the cable frm the deck, i cut off abit of the rubber coating frm the end... and exposed the golden wires and did the same with another wire which had the clamps on the end to attached to the speakers...and i just wired and twisted these around each other and then taped it secure... and thats how its sposd to be done right? doess that affect sound quality in anyway though? and secondly, im using a alpine deck with i htink stock speakers in the rear...clarion ones...and the pioneer 3 way 150w speakers in front now.. the deck is alpine with 35 x4 built in amp...the sound kinda fuzzy when it goes higher with ihger bass....in fact...not too loud even.. is this normal or is something messed up? can this be fixed by just wiring an amp? will the sound of these 150w speakers be better by just wiring an amp and are they not at the top of they potentials already?? thankss alot boosterr.. appreciate it

guys, i bought my r33 that came with this alpine cassette deck with a CD shuttle changer. in the rears, there are some clarion speakers.. from the battery compartment, i look up and see the words clarion.. in the front, there these 2 ways speakers i would be made to believe, by some wierd korean company called axis audio. and tweeters further up. so i bought these new 150W 3 way pioneer speakers at an audiocom sale..and it was the same size so i tried to put it in myself. the sound wasnt all that great...and cause the guy at the shop told me that maybe cause the crossover had the tweeters set to -3db or something. i opened the door panels and i saw a crossover ALSO by AXIS.. and then one input is the amplifier...i think thats e cable from the deck... and then woofer...which went out to the new pioneer speakers. and then the tweeter that ggoes to the tweeter...and then in the middle, there is a switch..that says on top, -3db flat.. and now i pushed it to the right and it sounds sharper... what does the switch mean? the sound was kinda dull...so the guy at the shop said was because it was designed that way before...the old system.. so i cut away the rubber from the wires on the tweeter and the woofer...and i stuck em together...so that the woofer would get the treble signals too so that the pioneer 3ways would get some tweeter sounds... anywasys...the sound is sharper now...and but the tweeters emit a crackling now when the bass is turned up and not too loud either. should i remove the crossovers and then plug the deck straight to the pioneer and remove the tweeters...cause the pioneers are 3 way with the tweeter thingy in the middle or should i remove the crossover..and then remove abit of rubber coating from the wire and then route it to the tweeter too which is how come shops install tweeters? thanks guys ps: the deck comes with 35W x 4 amplifier...shouldnt the bass and sound with the speakers be vfaguely good? thanks alot in advnace guys!! =)

when i go up my driveway... like when i turn right ON to the drive way, FROM the road on to the drive way,, like going up a little bump kinda thing, with the steering turned, meaning one wheel gets up first then the other.. when the first wheel gets up, theres a knocking sound... like coming from the axle or suspension or something or the other.. it only comes when going over bumps and steering turned more than 1 round...even slow..like a krock krock kinda thing... never had it before...just did... dont think i woulda broke nething? thanks in advnace dudes...=)

i drive a na r33 94... its a rb25de i would be made to believe... does any one have any idea...a low budget kinda idea on how to bring more power into my car? ive already put in a pod filter...i think the car came with a high flow cat... now a 2 and 1/2 exhaust system... is makin quite decent power but lacks the turbo kick... if i were to turbo it, what is the cheapest way? get a second hand rb25det manifold and turbo and slap it on and run low boost? or the cheapest way to extract good power frm where im standing now.... heh thanks alot dudes in advance

i could be wrong...and normally am but i normally do mine so im pretty sure i am right this time...;P turn off the aircond. then turn off the car..start the car back on and immediatly after the car starts, hold the OFF button on the aircon system for 10 seconds or at least until u see the whole display light up. then press the temp UP(red one) to begin diagnostics. the first is the 20's and then 30's and etc... im not sure what 30's and onward mean but on the 20's.. as long as it says 20, its fine. if its 25, it means the photo sensor on yr dash right near the windscreen is messed...clean it up and give it another go...that normally works for me laters

wHYYY didnt i read this post earlier!?!?!?!! i drive a 33 GTS with air filter... 3' exhaust etc...and i thought the clutch was slipping after i rode it one time by accident...and there was e smell but the car drove normally... i think it was e same as one of yrs...but then being a paranoid dude...and not wanting the car to not work just as i was heading to exams( exam wk in uni) ... i changed to an exedy brass button clutch good for 450hp... grips like a b*tch now and is hard as to drive... :-####
